Jonpon

Dr. Pez (@drpez12) has created a cover arrangement of the semi-final battle theme from Pokémon Colosseum! youtube.com/watch?v=YGnWOyng… At the same time, an interview conducted previously in Tokyo has also been published! *It is a comprehensive, long-form interview (in English). drpez12.substack.com/p/tawad… This cool, sophisticated arrangement became a favorite of mine the moment I heard it! All the players are incredibly cool, too! 👍 Dr. Pez / @drpez12 : Keyboards, Guitars, etc. Jonathan Parecki / @jonathanparecki : Bass, Guitar Dom Palombi / @dompalombimusic : Drums Carlos Mata from / @arcadebops : Saxophone The arrangement is fantastic, but the synth solo in the middle—including the score and the faithful reproduction of nuances like pitch bends—is so spot-on that it almost feels like I’m the one playing it myself😄 They said they have been familiar with this music since they were ten years old. Listening to them play, I can sense that the music is deeply ingrained in them🥰 It makes me truly happy to see my music being enjoyed like this across generations. I’d love for us to get together in the studio and jam again, just like we did for that Tokyo session. Thanks for everything! 🙏🥰
