cambridge.org/core/journals/… I am very happy to see this piece out with #AfricanStudiesReview. This is based on fieldwork done in 2017 with civilians from Uíge province in Uíge and Luanda and with former #UNITA commanders.
Additionally: some new information on #FNLA, some reflections on #fieldwork in #postconflict settings, a bit of friendly pushback against some established narratives about UNITA’s #rebelgovernance. And two maps, yay!
