Why do women’s rights hold no value for Plaid Cymru? Natasha Asghar, Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Women’s and Girls’ Rights in Wales, asked the Deputy First Minister some very clear questions yesterday. The questions related to the withdrawal of a Plaid MS from this important Group amid serious reports of bullying from male party staff. Once again, @Sioned_W failed to answer a single question, seemingly excusing the outrageous behaviour by providing a muddled word salad about other areas of Welsh Government work. Notably, she also failed to address or deny the bullying allegations.
🤯 Plaid Cymru is openly admitting that protecting women's & girls' rights doesn't align the party's values 🚨 A Plaid MS was allegedly bullied by party staffers into quitting a group focusing on this important topic! 👇 They don't care about protecting women and girls

Thirty years ago today I announced the first ever all-female crew to attempt the Jules Verne Trophy. The non-stop round the world record we hoped to beat was 74 days! We were also the first all-female crew to race a maxi multihull; RSA was 74 ft with a top speed of 28 knots!

The absolute state of these men...
Apparently @GussieGrips talking - over Zoom - about incontinence experienced by women in a fringe meeting at Green Party Conference was so awful, these men organised a display of their unhappiness with a big flag. Elaine can be heard at the end discussing urinary incontinence

FFS. I didn’t realise there was proscribed kit at parkrun. Wonder if @parkrunUK can provide us with a list?
Such a shame to see this censorship of the lovely @RRRunnersUK tops on Facebook photos from Saturday's parkrun. I wonder if parkrun HQ are supportive of one of their volunteers taking this action 🤔

TRAs have posted what they think are our addresses on multiple platforms. One site lists the wider family of women's rights activists, including children. They have driven the @EHRC from their offices & @KishwerFalkner had to stop using public transport. heraldscotland.com/news/2652…

Men. Stand with our women & girls. They are NOT guinea pigs for ongoing, failed social experiments. If you can’t/won’t see what’s happening, in every aspect of their lives, be ashamed. Be VERY ashamed. Protect women & children with all your might. Do it NOW.

CRICKET NEWS: The inaugural Women’s Masters World Cup launched yesterday at Malvern College with an invitational women’s match between England and an International XI. Organised by the Senior Women’s Cricket Association the event has attracted players from all over the world for the month-long tournament that sees fixtures around Worcestershire and Wales. But, spectators at yesterday’s match were somewhat puzzled to spot at least SIX male cricketers on the pitch. Fielding for the International XI was Annalise (Andrew) Britton from Wales who told his Facebook followers how thrilled he was to have made his debut and looking forward to playing for Wales on Monday at Colwall. Batting for England we spotted another male, Amy (Andy) Holmes a BBC journalist with 3 Counties Radio, who has previously spoken extensively about his ‘trans’ experience and is an LGBTQ+ mentor for the No Boundaries Cricket Club. We also spotted two men on the pitch from Gunnersbury Women’s Cricket Club. Gunnersbury, one of the oldest women’s cricket clubs in the country, was very vocal in its opposition to the ECB ban on men in women’s cricket and vowed to ‘stand by their trans players’. We emailed the organisers last week to clarify the entry criteria for the WOMEN’S Masters World Cup but received no reply. We wanted to know: ❓Why does the Women’s Masters World Cup include men, given the Supreme Court ruling that the word women ONLY applies to those whose sex is female? ❓Did the organisers ask all the women players for their written consent to play against males given the considerable increased risk of injury they face? ❓Is the event insured as a mixed-sex event? If insured as a women’s event do the insurers cover the additional risk of males bowling and batting at women? ❓Are the men using the female changing rooms and toilets - a clear breach of the law? Reminder: the fastest recorded speed of a cricket ball bowled by a male is 100.2 mph. The fastest recorded speed of a cricket ball bowled by a female is 82.1 mph. This milestone in women’s cricket should have been a cause for celebration. Last week hundreds of female cricketers descended on Malvern to celebrate the centenary of the first women’s cricket match at Colwall Cricket Club. We wonder what those women who walked out onto the pitch at Colwall in 1926 would have thought of the game they fought so hard for being hijacked by men.

Had a wee at a service station on the M4 on Wednesday, and another today at a railway station. Amazingly, on both occasions, everyone in there was female, except one little boy with his mum, which of course is fine. No toilet guards or anything! How DO they do it?

(I did have other wees too, I’m not weird. These were just the two in public toilets).

BREAKING NEWS: @FAWales has FINALLY capitulated - abandoning the unlawful policies that failed to protect the women's and girls' game. After years of campaigning and top-level talks to end these failures on safety and fairness, WRNWales has received confirmation from @NoelMooney13 that FAW has taken - with immediate effect -measures to comply with the law. We're pleased that FAW ultimately took on board our safeguarding concerns and has responded appropriately. More to follow! @wsusportsunion @sharrond62 @TracyEdwardsMBE @oliverbrown_tel faw.cymru/news/changes-appro… #SaveWomensSport
WRN Wales has today raised a serious safeguarding concern with @FAWales and the Chief Executive @NoelMooney13 after being alerted to the presence of a male playing in several Welsh women’s football and walking football teams. 1/8

Thank you for being honest! I won't be urging you to kill yourself in return because I'm not a seriously disordered human being. Please do keep speaking out, though. Every little helps in highlighting trans activism's ever-present wish of death and violence on its opponents ♥️

Right, serve up the moules frites, crack open the Chimay and put the Jacques Brel and Plastic Bertrand on the turntable. Allez la Belgique! #USABEL (I’m going to bed, obviously).

As usual, BBC lies and misleads its audience. This was a **women’s** changing room. Because the Trust let men use it, a massive amount of public money has been wasted. All organisations still allowing men in Female-only spaces are going to be sued sooner or later.
Trust pays £187k over trans changing room tribunal bbc.in/4eHeu34
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The changing room was designated for female staff; the tribunal ruled the trust unlawfully required them to share it with a biological male. judiciary.uk/wp-content/upl…

Hello @WalesOnline This is a very unwell man with severe mental health issues not a woman. If he has a penis and is reported to be ‘wanking’ - he is indeed a man. Please report a persons sex not their self identified gender when reporting such offences. Thank you.

Translation. Eoin thinks one female only category of 4 is 'grossly transphobic'. Quick feminist analysis: Q: Does Eoin advocate for males or females? A: Males Q. Does preferred policy benefit males or females? A: Males at the expense of females. Conclusion: continuity patriarchy.
That thread is one of the most grossly transphobic things I've seen on twitter in a long time. The generalisations about trans ppl and the transphobic tropes within, and here you are praising it as "excellent". Shame on you, Claire.

Women raise concerns, write letters, debate and where necessary, crowdfund for court cases. Whereas Trans activists smash up and vandalise buildings, call for violence against dissenting women, have urine protests and issue threats. No wonder our Deputy First Minister this week said that she needed to proceed ‘carefully’ in applying the law on women's rights. Just imagine how careful women and girls need to be when simply going about their normal day….. 2/2

Unison should realise that making men respect women's boundaries and spaces would be a damn sight more "workable" if you weren't constantly framing the very existence of women's rights as a grave injustice that no decent person can be expected to accept

Men are so terrifying that men who say they are women must be given sanctuary from them. But women who don’t want men in their lavatories are pearl-clutching bigots. Got that everyone?
The most disugsting point about the EHRC nonsense is there is absolutely no proof of trans women posing ANY risk to other women using the bathroom. Changing law to suit far-right fiction is absolutely insane. However, the risk to trans women using the mens? Huge.
