But, I couldn't ask for you to share your story & fight the stigma around abortion without sharing MY abortion story.
For the first time publicly I'm sharing my story. What access to abortion meant to me & why I fight to protect/expand access #SayAbortion

Happy Birthday, Mifepristone. On this #InternationalSafeAbortionDay, grateful for the 26 years mifepristone has given us safe and accessible access to abortion.

Twenty-six years ago today, the FDA approved mifepristone, transforming access to reproductive health care and giving millions of women greater freedom to make their own deeply personal medical decisions.
Mifepristone has a safety record over 99%. Yet Republican-led states are still fighting in court to restrict access nationwide, including through telehealth and the mail.
As Co-chair of the @DemWomenCaucus Reproductive Health Task Force and a member of the @ReproCaucus, I will keep fighting for your freedom to make decisions about your own body and your own future.
There is no room for this type of egregious behavior in our collective movements. Period. Full stop.

oh hi 👋🏾
planned parenthood asked @oliviarodrigo a few questions about sexual and reproductive health care, and she spilled her guts 🌼
thank you for making sure people know how critical planned parenthood health care centers are to communities, Olivia 💗
So this happened!
What an opportunity to talk with @oliviarodrigo about Planned Parenthood and what we do… and yes, she is as amazing as you would imagine her to be!
Planned Parenthood health center staff and providers have been incredibly resilient as the government ramps up attacks on care. @oliviarodrigo joined @PPActionCA President Jodi Hicks to discuss what showing up looks like in a world filled with health care misinformation.
Four years ago today, this Supreme Court took away the federal right to abortion. But California has continued to fight to ensure people have access to care in our state. This November, elect representatives that will fight for your reproductive freedom.

He says Steve Hilton & Nithya Raman are looking increasingly likely to advance based off current trends:
As Californians it really is a gift to get @Elex_Michaelson covering state politics in a way I’ve never seen before on a national program. I feel really lucky to be able to contribute to it.
Here’s my clip from tonight. Gov race, LA Mayor, and the #CD6 race.
Great night all around but ending the night watching this guy on @CNNTheStoryIs is epic. So proud of @paulmitche11
Happy Election Day!
Today’s the day!
(I know, I know many of you responsibly voted already). But for the rest of us,
Turn in your ballot at any drop box or vote in person but just make sure to VOTE!

BREAKING: Medication abortion is still safe.
And in California it is still legal and accessible. nbcnews.com/politics/supreme…
