For the last week I’ve been trying to figure out why my conversion. Rate has dropped off a cliff. Turns out @shopify is just retsrded. It’s giving me 2% conversion but only calculating it on 331 completed checkouts instead of the 600 so far today. Man. Sort your shit out @shopify it’s simple math.

So frustrating. Department of enterprise and employment have twice refused a visa to a key employee we hired. She’s a super smart Indian girl, with a masters from Smurfit. Works here. Good salary. Pays taxes. Fucking idiots in charge holding the country back. Btw when I launched the job application, not one Irish person who was qualified applied for the role.

Conversion rate dropped 29% yesterday and another 28 today. Sessions up 42% Diagnosis: another overpaid and overconfident meta developer has broken the algorithm. Probably accidentally (or perhaps more deviously as a revenue spike tied to a bonus 🤔)
