Here’s Duke basketball legend and 7x NBA All-Star Grant Hill doing the Gator Chomp!
Grant’s daughter Lael is a freshman on the Gators soccer team.
One thing I loved: Grant got autographs from every player after the game. No, they didn’t want his autograph. He wanted theirs.

Joey Knight's family posted on FB that he passed away this morning. JK covered #Gators, USF, Bucs and much more in his time at the Tampa Tribune and Tampa Bay Times. He was a regular at UF pressers and games this past season amidst cancer battle. RIP to a good soul. @TBTimes_Bulls

Had a blast @GatorsMBK game vs @AlabamaMBB as the Rowdy Reptiles were so good to me . Florida dominated with 72 Pts in the paint . Frontcourt was best in nation & guards played well especially Boogie Fland who was terrific .Gators beat Bama for 5 th straight time - has scored 100 or more in 4 of them .

An incredible moment of unity in New Orleans tonight. 65,000+ fans just joined in with our commercial to sing “Take Me Home, Country Roads”- the first Super Bowl ad ever synced to a live, in-stadium sing-along. #TakeMeHomeRocket #OwnTheDream
Stopped in Cordele on a drive home from Atlanta. Know once I hit Florida @MyFDOT will have those roads clean as a whistle!

We launched Moving Florida Forward in 2023 to accelerate needed road projects with an emphasis on alleviating traffic.
I-75 in and near Ocala can be a parking lot and represents one of the worst bottlenecks in the state. We have infused $541 million into expanding lanes from SR 44 to SR 326, which is forecast to significantly reduce traffic congestion.
This project was not slated to begin for another 10-15 years, but thanks to our program, construction is already underway.

Thousands of cubic yards of sand & debris stood in the way of recovery efforts in Bradenton Beach, but FDOT knew this was a job that needed to get done and FAST. After already clearing 16 miles of S.R. 789 just days prior, crews in @MyFDOT_SWFL secured yet another win for residents & businesses with the sand clearing of nearly 5 miles of these local side streets 2 days ahead of schedule. Great work, team - this has made a huge difference in the recovery process.
BRADENTON BEACH SIDE STREETS NOW CLEARED: FDOT crews in @MyFDOT_SWFL have reached another major milestone in recovery efforts with the clearing of local side streets off of S.R. 789 in Bradenton Beach. FDOT is committed to helping our local partners in their greatest time of need and we’re proud to have carried out this important mission for these communities.

Under the direction of @GovRonDeSantis, FDOT & @FLHSMV’s FHP crews are deploying for Operation Blue Ridge to aid North Carolina with recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene. With the immediate needs of our state secured and over 2,100 FDOT team members still actively working in Florida’s communities, we’re honored to extend available resources and expertise to our neighbors in their time of need.
We have dispatched a convoy of @MyFDOT staff and heavy equipment, including 7,500 feet of temporary bridges, to North Carolina to help with damage assessments and roadway repairs.
