I think @jitpack is the frictionless option. If you’re turned off that GAVs must use com.github. as groupId prefix let me tell you Jitpack supports custom domain names. I did it for @jreleaser and it’s a doozy. Quick. Easy. Lemon-squeeze. 😉

I learned about jitpack today, and it's very useful. It allows you to pull in a dependency with #Gradle/#Maven directly from a git hash. I used it to build against an unreleased version of a library that contains a PR that I required. #Java jitpack.io/docs/

A warm welcome to everyone who is new to JitPack! Seeing big increase in traffic in recent days

Valid concerns but we can provide additional clarification: - Artifacts can be deleted only during first 7 days - Checksums are there but not signing. Partly because the build occurs on our servers and not on the user's - You can also build artifacts in advance with webhooks

Just created a new library for Android, and @jitpack makes distribution so easy that it just took me a commit to publish and distribute the library. Cheers to Jitpack devs. 🍻
