This is Chinese wisdom.

You do not have to become China.
China does not have to absorb you into a camp.
We can trade, cooperate and work together on international affairs as long as there is dialogue, mutual respect and respect for the UN-centered system.
For decades, the West lectured China about “engagement” and “rules.”
Now Beijing is the one telling the West:
Stop decoupling. Stop bloc politics. Stop turning every disagreement into a new Cold War. Sit down and talk.
