I asked @Razer support to tell me which power adapter is compatible with my laptop (since they don't show it anywhere)... and now they want my explanation for request, address and phone number just to give me an answer. Wth, seriously.

Hellooo London. What's new?

The outcome I outright predicted when this whole hype started. But sure, we're "productive" at generating slop now. Yay.
A new capitalist nightmare just dropped

Interestingly, I never had to intervene on my Swiss railways EV either. And it doesn't get stuck in traffic.
I can safely say that with Tesla in California at least this is almost true today - I think I intervened once in the past three months of driving.

Of course the other designers decide if you're getting promoted ;)
The best feedback I ever got: "Your design looks like you're trying to impress other designers." Translation: It was "pretty" without utility. Hurt like hell. Changed everything. Now I always design for the user.

Hard disagree. There are so many more ways to do UX (especially interface!) than Apple's. Cupertino is good at it, don't get me wrong - but competitors who continue down the "just copy Apple" road will eventually find their customers Just Buying The iPhone instead.
I’ve been saying this a lot recently, and I think it still holds true Apple spends a lot of time and money trying to perfect user interaction and design. They usually, I’d say 90% hit rate, get it right. It’s usually a good idea to just copy what they do

📞🐦 Dve vrsti kartic, ki ju ne uporabljamo več (ali pač? 🤔): telekartice in "mobi kartice" za predplačniško mobilno telefonijo. Ah, spomini... 😁

Millennial indie devs have crystalised the wobbly, pixelated look of PS1 games into an aesthetic choice. Should we expect the same for Gen Z and Gen Alpha? In ten years I expect 100s of indies filled with temporal ghosting and unassailable 100 ms frame-time spikes.

Ivy League Universities and Microsoft do a study on productivity gains when using Copilot. Claim a 25% increase. Looking through the paper. Especially love how they measure "code quality". Which they define as "does it build". papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.…
