Why? Context: she is a 3 years old orphan who lost her father at the beginning of the genocide, and in this photo two days ago she is staring at her mother burning to death in an air strike by the Israeli army in Gaza Strip. So.. Why?

I still remember the pregnant woman who was kidnapped by bandits and gave birth to twins prematurely in captivity. The bandit leader threw her newborn twins to his dogs. As the helpless babies were being torn apart, he raped their mother, who was still bleeding from childbirth. Imagine the screams. Imagine the helplessness. Imagine a mother watching her babies d!e in the most horrifying way, unable to save them. A kind of horror no human being should ever have to witness. She couldn't bear it, she ran mad immediately. Whenever I remember that woman, a cold shiver runs through my body. Somewhere, a family is still living with the unbearable pain of what happened to their daughter and grandchildren. No amount of tears can bring those babies back. No apology can erase that nightmare from the husband. This happened late last year, under this administration. Yet, some people are already campaigning for the same APC to remain in power. How does a government explain a country where innocent citizens can be kidnapped, brutalised, dehumanized and murdered? Have we become so politically blinded that the suffering of our fellow citizens no longer moves us? Don't you feel it when people are subjected to such horrors that should only happen in zombie movies? Shouldn't their lives matter more than party loyalty? How many more mothers must we watch suffer? How many more children must d!e before the government treats our security as the emergency it is? Our lives don't matter to this government. I feel like the people supporting this government are more evil and demonic than the government.

Hello Einstein. I teach this kind of thing to 1st year students. Let me help you. Propaganda 101: Take criticism, amplify it, make it about the collective so you can engineer mob outrage. It is also narcissistic to appropriate an entire nation's identity on something directed at a few. I did not call South Africans bigots. You know which ones I called bigots? The ones who FABRICATED a LIE about the Minister's husband's nationality. It is a lie that he is Congolese. But the bigots fabricated that for a purpose. Those are the bigots. Interesting that you are inadvertently owning the title. The shoe fits? Nice. But it fits on you. Don't make it about "South Africans." Another feature of disinformation- when the lie is exposed, don't acknowledge and correct it but shift the goalpost and blur the topic. "Questioning the Minister " on policy is not the topic. The LIE about her husband's nationality is. Your confusion is noted.
Redi what what calling South Africans bigots! Ngobani? Just because they questioned a minister who is fighting tooth and nail to keep illegal and lying asylum seekers? To think I once considered this lady’s style of journalism erudite 🤦‍♀️

Wesley Snipes hit Halle Berry so hard, her eardrum burst & she went deaf in that ear. Eric Benet was a “sex addict” that cheated on her repeatedly. I’ll never believe those white men mistreating her is some kind of karma for not dating black men. Y’all are weird.

A U.S. congressman wants to change how we legally “own” video games. Rep. Ritchie Torres has announced plans to introduce the Power To The Players Act, a bill that would direct the FTC to create rules protecting consumers who buy video games. The proposal would give players three basic rights: >The right to own the games they purchase, rather than simply receiving a revocable license >The right to keep playing games after online servers are shut down, through an offline mode >The right to transfer or resell games they own Torres argues that if a company can take a game away simply by shutting down its servers, then the consumer didn’t really buy the game in the first place. Torres also hopes the legislation could eventually establish a precedent for ownership rights across other parts of the digital economy: “If you pay for it, you own it.”

Before October 7, 2023, I won’t deny that my dream was to leave Gaza, go to McDonald’s, and eat there. But since October 7, I can no longer look at such images without feeling revulsion; even in the ketchup, I see blood. I see the blood of my people in these images.

This is the attitude behind every racist shitbag on this platform. Part of a little girl’s skull was found near Mackay in Qld. The skull was taken to the local pub. The locals used it as a communal ashtray. Why? Because they thought it was an Indigenous girl’s skill. They felt bad only when it was revealed to be from a white girl’s murder. Forget the spin, forget how innocuous they pretend to be, THIS is who they really are. abc.net.au/news/2026-10-15/m…

Here's my @spectator column, 'Sally Rooney and an unexpected upside of the Palestine Action ban' spectator.com/article/sally-… The advice on which former Home Secretary Yvette Cooper based her proscription of Palestine Action has never been published. My assumption is that it outlined the organisation’s behaviour and its implications for national security. That’s all well and good. But it turns out that proscribing Palestine Action (PA) has had follow-on benefits which make Cooper’s decision seem even more laudable. We’ve all seen the protests, when PA supporters who couldn’t place Palestine on a map sit motionless on the ground with their PA placards. They call it civil disobedience, but which of us hasn’t thought what a simple, peaceful way it would be to clear these awful people not just off the streets but out of society itself. If only the police and the Crown Prosecution Service would just arrest them en masse; they could be dumped in prison and we could then forget about them. But news has emerged this week of one of the greatest side-benefits ever of a ministerial decision. The Guardian reports that: “Sally Rooney says she can no longer sell books in UK due to Palestine Action support: Irish writer of Normal People says she can no longer receive royalties from British sales and she cancelled UK trip due to fear of arrest.” If politicians were given performance bonuses then Yvette Cooper would surely be a millionaire for this wonderful gift she has handed to Britain by banning PA. Rooney said last year after the ban that she would hand over some of her royalties to the organisation, which then led her to cancel a trip to collect an award (the mind boggles) for fear of being arrested under the Terrorism Act. She issued this statement on Wednesday: “[F]ulfilment of contracts to publish my work in the UK could now constitute a serious criminal offence. After a process of consultation and deliberation, and with my full agreement, my publisher Faber has therefore determined that it can no longer supply my work within the UK.” It seems that Rooney has also given a statement to the high court as part of PA’s legal challenge to its proscription. In it, she says her books could be removed from UK shops and the publication of new books in the UK could be prevented. I am, however, confused. If she is trying to have the ban overturned, surely she should not be making arguments that make it seem an even more attractive idea? Rooney has gone the whole hog and pledged to support Palestine Action financially. Most of the usual suspects who queue up to sign whatever statement is doing the rounds about Palestine and the evils of the Zionists have said how much they deplore the proscription (although as for handing over their cash…no thank you!). The likes of Paul Weller, Yusuf/Cat Stevens, Paloma Faith, Tilda Swinton, Steve Coogan, Miriam Margolyes, Juliet Stevenson, Julia Sawalha, Frankie Boyle, Alexei Sayle, Mike Leigh, Michael Rosen and Ken Loach have all signed such round robin letters. As has – of course! – Greta Thunberg. Sally Rooney has shown the way by promising to leave the rest of us alone; she’s worried she’ll do time otherwise. (I really don’t want to risk her changing her mind by telling her that you don’t do time any more here unless you murder someone, and even then you’re let out before anyone’s really noticed you’ve been away.) So I’ve a modest proposal. Let’s treat signing a statement opposing the proscription of Palestine Action as full-on support for PA. With a headwind and some luck, most of the Slebs for Palestine will pack up and go, fearing arrest. And if they don’t, let’s turn their fears into reality. Imagine a world where we never have to hear or see from any of them again. Even I’d be grateful to Palestine Action.

By Jailbreaking your PS5, you can run almost all PS5 games directly from USB storage devices, and you can backup your save files without paying for PlayStation+. Like, it's not even piracy. It's just the ability to make the console do basic shit it should already be able to do.
