Holy shit! Member of the French Senate, Claude Malhuret, just said what the entire democratic free world is thinking about fascist dictator-wannabe Trump and his Nazi sidekick Elon Musk — calling Trump an "emperor" and Musk a "jester high on ketamine." 👇

Your Fire Chief institutes a new policy of closing a fire station rather than calling in OT. What would you do? #Orillia IAFF L1100 is in a fight for public & FF safety. They need your help. @IAFFCanada @OrilliaPFFA @cityoforillia @3804IPFFA @BarriePFFA @OrilliaFire

Rest Easy my Friend! I’ll see ya in Valhalla ❤️❤️
Orillia Fire@OrilliaFire5 Jan 2023
Today we laid to rest Fire Fighter Rob Ferguson. There was a large turnout of Fire Fighters from our larger fire service family to help us celebrate Rob’s life. Rest easy brother. We’ll take it from here.

Heaven has gained a new guardian angel, a son, a husband, a father and a very dear friend of mine. His passing has left a huge hole in my heart but I have many fond memories of our time spent together. My heart aches for his family he leaves behind…
Orillia Fire@OrilliaFire25 Dec 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our Orillia Fire family members. Firefighter Ferguson is a 26 year veteran of the fire service. He fought a valiant fight against cancer over the last year. Our thoughts are with his family.

With the impending storm and high winds predicted power outages will be a possibility. Remember generators and BBQ's produce carbon monoxide and should only be operated outdoors away from windows and doors.

Listen for the sirens and watch for the lights as the firefighters and Santa head to your street! View the Route Maps and approximate start times at springwater.ca/FiretruckRun. Please remember that fire crews may be unable to complete their route if they get called to an emergency.

#OTD in 1943, the First Special Service Force, an elite joint Canadian-American- commando unit, landed in Italy. They were nicknamed “the Devil’s Brigade” by the Germans due to their night raids behind enemy lines. #CanadaRemembers
