Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast. A Russian strike on an ordinary passenger but tore at least 30 people to pieces. Innocent Ukrainians. A direct hit on a bus packed with people. And yesterday, 22 people were killed in Pryluky when a Russian missile brought down a residential building. All of this is the bloody result of years of endless appeasement of the Kremlin, endless concessions, “escalation management,” and the constant indulgence of Putin’s and Russia’s ever-growing, bloodthirsty whims. He is bathing in a sea of human blood, reveling in his complete impunity. Soon even this would not be enough. I don’t know what cauldron in the depths of Hell awaits those who, against the backdrop of literally daily mass killings in Ukraine, have the sheer audacity to run around Twitter cheerleading for Russia and peddling fairy tales about “only military targets.”
