🫣 We have onboarded 3X more new paying customers in the past 2 and a half months compared to the total number of new customers we onboarded during the entire 12 months prior to that.
Yesterday, we pre-launched Patchstack for Lovable, Replit, Base44 and for any hosted NodeJS applications. Based on the volume of applications coming in, I can already tell the approach we've taken to protect these apps is what people have been waiting for.
Beyond excited for what's ahead of us.

We are working on a part 2 of our analysis on web hosting defences against WordPress specific vulnerabilities and we are looking for a third-party who would act as an independent verifier of our testing methods and results. Recommend some people! 😎 (#WCUS for reach)

llms.txt is probably a waste of time. But you know what isn't? Allllllllllllllllll of the other 'standards' files you should care about.
Good job someone built a thing, eh?

Thanks for the answer.
You're right that conversations at events reflect the culture around them. In Europe, there’s more focus on regulation, sustainability, and governance. It’s not always exciting, but it’s part of how we try to protect people. Cookie banners aren’t fun, but they’re just one symptom of a broader mindset.
I believe that talking about regulation, process, and sustainability is actually a future-focused approach.
If we ignore the foundations, any growth we pursue could be short-lived.
Growth without sustainability isn’t really growth. It’s just a delay of problems.
The hallway track at WCEU might seem more cautious, but that doesn’t mean there’s no optimism. Many of us care deeply about where WordPress is heading. We just believe that addressing real concerns and legacy issues is part of building something stronger.
Yes, the loudest voices aren’t the majority. Still, they often reflect frustrations that are worth listening to. Not every complaint is constructive, but many of them point to things that need attention.
The WCEU attendes may ask tougher or more critical questions, but that comes from a place of care. We’re thinking about how to make WordPress thrive for the next generation, not just this one.

Bombshell news out of the @altctrlorg event alongside #WCEU: FAIR (Federated and Independent Repositories) introduces a #wordpress package manager in an aim to fully decentralize & futureproof WP by insulating the ecosystem from the anti-competitive whims of @photomatt
Backed by the @linuxfoundation and hundreds of contributors the project was coordinated by @jdevalk and @karimmarucchi and has an all-star technical steering committee of @Ipstenu @cdils and @rmccue.
This is a huge step in a great direction #wpdrama #WCEU2025

In 2024, @patchstackapp helped coordinate the disclosure of 4565 security vulnerabilities. In less than 4 months of 2025, we’ve already done ~70% or that volume. We expect these numbers to grow a lot as more and more plugin devs set up their VDPs with us to prepare for CRA.

Not only is Patchstack the main source of WordPress vulnerability intelligence, but today we became one of the very few security organisations who have assigned more than 10,000 CVEs. This shows the immense success of the Patchstack Alliance program. Really proud of the team! 👏

Over @AspirePressOrg we've been in beta testing for a week now, and today wordpress.org seems to have had a pretty major outage (restored now). Just one more reminder why we *must* have a more robust software distribution system. Join us! github.com/aspirepress/aspir…
