The Greenland deal is Classic Trump 101: start with the wild ask — “we should own Greenland” — get everybody freaking out, and then negotiate toward what you really want.
And what did he want? A bigger, permanent U.S. security footprint in Greenland and a way to keep China and Russia out.

Today in Naples, on September 19, 2026, the feast of Saint Januarius, the blood of the beloved martyr and patron saint of Naples liquefied once again inside the Cathedral of Naples.
The announcement was made at 10:04 a.m. local time by Msgr. Vincenzo De Gregorio, Abbot of the Chapel of the Treasure, as the faithful gathered for the annual feast-day celebration. The news was met with applause inside the cathedral.
The liquefaction of Saint Januarius’ blood is traditionally observed three times each year, including on September 19, his feast day, and has been part of Catholic devotion in Naples for centuries.
Saint Januarius, also known as San Gennaro, was a bishop and martyr who gave his life for Christ during the Roman persecutions around A.D. 305 - under emperor diocletian.
His blood has been preserved in sealed glass ampoules in Naples, and the centuries-old phenomenon continues to draw thousands of faithful who see it as a powerful sign connected to the intercession and protection of their beloved patron saint. ✝️🇻🇦

But during Biden's term, I REMEMBER the media making it feel like everything was fine but the opposite was felt by Americans in the real world.
Today, it seems to be the opposite. People's conditions are improving but the perception is that life is worse.
That's exactly why you have to separate how people feel, what they're being told, and what the underlying data actually show.
We're heading toward the 2026 midterms.
