Crazy to see Boston’s surplus of 3-point shooting contrasted with Detroit’s lack of 3-point shooting. Celtics also have so many more sources of shot creation. Just on a different tier from the Pistons.

Boston started their run/DET’s drought by putting Queta on Ausar for a handful of possessions, and a wing on Paul Reed, allowing them to switch all PNR actions involving Cade/Reed. Ausar has to find a way to attack that coverage.

Not unexpected. This has 6 guaranteed deals (so far) on DET’s books next year. Cade, JD, Ausar, Huerter, Ron, and Okorie. Collins, Duncan, Joe, & Chaz all have non-guaranteed or team options, and Daniss is an RFA next summer.

The Detroit Pistons have picked up the 2027-28 rookie scale team option for Ron Holland, a league source told @spotrac. Holland will now be on the Pistons books for next season at $11.5M.

It will go unnoticed by everyone but @lazchance , but Tolu looks to have improved A LOT this summer. He looks slimmer, is making really good handoff decisions on the perimeter, and his defense looks more fluid.

Spent time in FL this week after Hurricane Isaias. It was a reminder than real world problems & “online problems” are very different things. People are def unique, but it takes all kinds to work to tackle big problems. Didn’t find one “enemy” while sweating clearing debris.

Re-watched the DET-WAS game from Sat night. I know Okorie is the new face with potential, but he needs to improve A LOT if he’s going to take any Daniss minutes. I expect the 2nd unit to be a lot of fun again this year.
