I was having lunch at Kimi Natural 73+ cafe in Ikebukuro when this happened today! We didn’t have one false alarm, but TWO!
Japan just had its own version of the Hawaii missile scare. At around 12:40, an emergency alert was broadcasted warning of an imminent magnitude 9.9 earthquake off the coast of Hokkaido.
A magnitude 9.9 earthquake, if it happened, would be the strongest earthquake ever recorded, releasing approximately 22 times more energy than the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake.
Fortunately just minutes later the earthquake alert was withdrawn and confirmed to be a false alarm. But for those few minutes, people across the country held their breath bracing for a potentially catastrophic earthquake that ultimately never came.
Ten domain name registrars have written to the auDA board, asking it to reverse a decision that would severely limit eligibility to register .com.au and .net.au domain names.

The auDA board needs to be sacked immediately, or its members need to do the right thing and resign. #auDA #DomainNames #Australia #Domains #Business

‘We don’t understand’: A little-noticed change could affect millions of Australian websites. The country’s domain name governing body has proposed new rules that have industry experts worried.

‘Uber.com.au’ dropped in Australia. Uber (the ride-sharing company) never got a chance to bid. The public never got a chance to bid - assets.com.au/uber-com-au-dr…
Uber.com.au recently dropped. You'd think a domain like that should get some attention, right? It showed up on the expired list... then disappeared from the public auction. So what happened? #Australia #Domains #Domainer #DomainInvesting #DomainDrop @robkaay

This legend @Coreyjparker13 nails it "Yes, he got 10 in the bin… but to single out an individual like that when your team has 55 missed tackles, ill-discipline and other players, including your very own son… I think it's totally unacceptable." au.news.yahoo.com/former-nrl… #NRL
What a total fuc**** shi* thing to do and hang your player out like that in the presser. To blame one person in one game for your season finals end is a complete joke. If you'd won more games during the season you wouldn't been in this position today... who wants to play for a wanker of a coach like that🖕
'ONE SHI* DECISION' 🗣️
Ricky Stuart has unloaded post-match, blaming the Raiders loss on a star's "fuc**** brain explosion". 😠

Now we're charging them $50 & they turned around & raised prices on their customers $250."
