After I won my defamation lawsuit against corrupt Australian "journalist" Nick McKenzie, his friends in the media, especially Matthew Goldstein of the NY Times, deliberately mischaracterized my total victory as a settlement to protect McKenzie's undeserved reputation. I didn't just win; I won seven consecutive judgments, all with cost awards, which I believe is an Australian litigation record. The judge described McKenzie's defense conduct as "egregious" and "disarming."
I sued Nick McKenzie for defamation because I had proof that he lied and committed fraud. But he can't sue me for defamation for calling him a liar, a fraud, and a disgrace to his profession because truth is an absolute defense. In fact, McKenzie would make my day if he did sue me for defamation. I'd like the opportunity to extend my record and win an eighth judgment against him.
Though I may get to break my own record anyway, as I may soon have the evidence to prove that McKenzie was actually the driving force behind the shutdown of my bank, so he could use it as evidence in his defense. If I find it, I may win the biggest defamation judgment in Australian history.

they didn’t hack ledger. they didn’t exploit the code. they BOUGHT the company selling you the device. $86 million gone
a company called CryptoBilis was an authorized ledger reseller in southeast asia. trusted. legit. sold ledgers for years
a random chinese company quietly bought CryptoBilis from its malaysian owner
made the original owner sign a confidentiality agreement. he couldn’t tell anyone the company was sold
same brand name. same website. same “authorized reseller” badge. but different people behind it now
the new owners started opening every ledger device before shipping
soldered a tiny spy chip onto the board inside. repackaged it. sealed the box. shipped it
the device looked normal. felt normal. worked normal
but the spy chip was silently capturing your private keys the moment you set it up
your seed phrase was sent to the attacker before you even finished writing it down
hundreds of wallets across ethereum tron and bitcoin. all drained
the guy who lost $5.3 million said “i did everything right. no leverage. no memecoins. i stored my funds on a hardware wallet like we’re all told to”
he was right. he did everything right
except his device had a parasite inside it that he couldn’t see
ledger has now told CryptoBilis to stop all sales. told recent buyers NOT to set up their devices
mark karpelès posted photos of the implant. normal board on top. spy chip below
the most dangerous attack in crypto this year wasn’t a line of code
it was a business acquisition

I called for this terrible ATO decision to be reversed last week. Today Chalmers is finally backflipping and cleaning up his mess. Not because he’s listening, but because his job is on the line.
But the Treasurer hasn’t fixed it. He’s just kicked the can down the road. He should scrap the ATO credit card ban for good.
While he’s got the mop and bucket out, he should start cleaning up his disastrous budget.
Labor couldn’t run a corner shop. But they know how to send one broke.

MAJOR UPDATE: The Sydney Swans hotel scandal just took an absolute whiplash turn.
Victoria Police are reportedly on the verge of dropping the case against the Sydney Swans players after a bombshell secret recording completely flipped the narrative.
Here is what is allegedly going down behind closed doors.
It can now be revealed that:
A third woman reportedly arrived at the hotel room in the early hours armed with cocaine.
Once she realized she was in a room full of high profile AFL stars, things changed. Subsequent interactions were secretly taped in what is now being heavily characterized as a calculated extortion plot.
If these secret tapes hold up, the initial allegations are dead in the water, and the hunters become the hunted.
With Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner, Nick Blakey, and James Jordon maintaining their absolute innocence from day one, the Victoria Police Sexual Crimes Squad is left holding a brief of evidence that is rapidly falling apart.
Riley Bice remains cleared as a witness.
The tables haven't just turned, they've been completely flipped.
I have said from day one that this reeked of a setup.
The AFL and the Swans owe the players and fans a huge apology.

Jim Chalmers has been caught out by his own tax office.
They’ve made a pretty revealing admission: absorbing the cost of accepting credit cards is “not tenable”.
In other words, the cost doesn’t magically disappear when you ban the surcharge.
The ATO collects $700 billion in tax every year, yet even it won’t absorb the cost.
But Labor expects the local café, tradie and family business to wear it.
The surcharge might disappear from the receipt but the cost doesn’t.
Small businesses should still be able to pay their tax by credit card to manage their cash flow.
The Prime Minister should have reversed this decision yesterday.

I’m getting a lot of these dm’s. “Dave, is anyone talking about the ATO’s decision that as of 1st December that they will no longer accept credit card payments for anything! Ie payment plans, BAS . IAS payments. What in gods name are they hoping to achieve? Apparently “ as a government agency… it would not be appropriate for the cost of credit card merchant fees to be transferred to the community “ QC 108119. Ato Media Release. I shouldn’t be shocked! Where to now for small business??”
Small Business is about to go extinct in Australia. @australianlabor seem to want this to happen? Why. We need action now. This is utterly ridiculous. Every single honest private business in this country is under insane pressure from @albomp and his agenda on so many fronts. Why has legacy media ignored this disaster? I just don’t get it.

The news has finally broke that @Shopify has acquired the Shop.com domain name! I learned about this deal several months ago at a very interesting cocktail party.
While I was not involved in the transaction, and because nobody directly involved is my source, I am going to tell you something that is not being reported:
The price was $100 Million!!! JUST the domain name.
That is the state of the market ladies and gentlemen.
