Apple’s First in-house 5G mmWave capable modem is performing very well so far. Late to the party, but not too far behind the competition… Speedtest taken on Verizon 5G SA on N77 + 6xCA mmW on iPhone 18 Pro with the C2 modem on Verizon’s network with line of sight to the RAN. 🍎

Another cool iOS 27 feature: RCS will continue to operate over WiFi or another Cellular Data source even when one of your sims has been disabled. This is useful when swapping to a different carrier for better service or when disabling a sim abroad to save on roaming fees. 🆒😎
A cool new feature in iOS 27: Connectivity Assist. It merges together your WiFi and Cellular connection to maintain better internet speeds and consistency. I have 1 Gbps DL Fios Fiber and I get around 700 Mbps DL on Verizon 5GUW inside my home, turning it into 1.6 Gbps DL. 👀🙌🏻
Not surprising, but disappointing @TMobile. The mobility market in the United States is entering into a period of reduced competition. Their biggest competition is now… themselves. This is inevitably what happens when telecommunication networks become a utility, not a luxury. 👎🏻

TMobile 5G Stand Alone 6xCA carrier aggregation is live in my area, combining a total of 255 MHz of Sub 2.5 GHz spectrum. N41 (100 MHz)+ N41 (90 MHz) + N25 (20 MHz) + N25 (20 MHz) + N71 (20 MHz) + N71 (5 MHz) Absolutely bonkers & an insane amount of spectrum On Air!! 😱 (S26U)
AT&T also has 5xCA NR SA deployed in some areas. It is live in my area. N77 + N2 + N5 + N66 + N77. Excellent speeds. 🔥
AT&T 3xCA N77 + N77 + N77 is starting to make an appearance. 👀 They're making use of their non-contiguous n77 spectrum in some markets with 5G Standalone 3xTDD Carrier Aggregation... Awesome performance & a cool find. More AT&T 5G Standlone testing to come. 🔥

T-Mobile has 700 MHz of 24 GHz mmWave deployed around the National Mall in Washington DC. I picked it up near the Washington Monument and Lincoln Monument. A cheat code for capacity that I hope TMobile invests into more at busy, densely populated locations like this one. 🔥🙌🏻
