Art Hits Hard

If voters pick both, Best Picture should go to The Odyssey, and La Bola Negra should take International Feature. The Odyssey is a massive technical and narrative blockbuster, representing Hollywood filmmaking at its highest peak. La Bola Negra is a beautiful, intimate, and poetic masterpiece. The International category exists to give global stories this exact spotlight. Splitting the wins gives both masterpieces their proper credit without one completely overshadowing the other.

Happy #ColumbusDay to all my Italian American family, friends and colleagues. Rightly proud of your great heritage and your magnificent and ongoing contribution to building today’s America. 🇺🇸🇮🇹✝️

The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty

also that it works >>>>> that some guy thinks its pretty which is why i dont think its a topic to openly engage the general audience with, or to do big campaigns to them about, cause they 99% lack the context and the day-to-day of applying it
