#KnivesDownLivesUp for Knife Crime Awareness Week This week (May 20th-26th) we come together to raise awareness about the devastating impact of knife crime. Too many young lives are tragically cut short by violence. We need to break the cycle.

bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment… there’s at least one shop in my town that sells machetes and zombie knives and I know because at one point they had them in the window. A machete would cost me £19. #IdrisElba #DontStopYourFuture #ZombieKnife #KnifeCrime

Too many lives have been lost and impacted by knife crime. I fully support @idriselba new campaign #DontStopYourFuture . Today, he stands with bereaved families & calls on Govt to deliver their long-standing commitment to ban zombie knives and tackle serious youth violence.

Such a powerful and emotional message from @idriselba and the #DontStopYourFuture campaign in Parliament Square this morning. Too many lives have been lost to knife crime. Young people told me what they think is needed. Here's what they said: barnardos.org.uk/sites/defau…
