I booked the same actor on two separate commercials in a span of a month. just saw one on nat network TV... (YAY!)
reminder: booking isn't a numbers game/luck.
sure she fit the spec, but the fact is - she's great & her self tapes are too. that's why she booked 2 jobs in a row.

“Lovers and Other Strangers” is an evening of five one-acts adding up to less than 80 minutes of brilliant comedy writing and wonderful relatable people seduced by love, arguing about love, marrying with love, cheating with love and confused by love. nohoartsdistrict.com/noho-th…
Congrats @GGCPlayers & @GloriaGifford

there's a lot going on... the commercial industry is weird. (everything is)
you'll be tempted to decline self tape auditions or simply not turn them in.
resist this feeling & GET IT DONE. do the best you can in the moment & turn it in. don't miss the opportunity.
you can do it.

commercial self tapes: when given general direction & told to send 2-3 takes - seize the opportunity by making different choices in each take. however, the craziest, most outlandish choices aren't necessarily it: think specific, smart, funny (?) but viable choices, instead.

“The only advice I have for any actor is, keep acting. Just keep working. And keep your mind on what you want. It’s bound to happen if you keep working.”
