commercial self tapes: when given general direction & told to send 2-3 takes - seize the opportunity by making different choices in each take. however, the craziest, most outlandish choices aren't necessarily it: think specific, smart, funny (?) but viable choices, instead.

In order to have a good audition, you have to have a tranquil mind. If you’re in a state of fragmented thoughts it’s hard to focus on what you want to accomplish. Give yourself a few minutes before you audition and clear yourself of any confusion and stay grounded.
