Political violence is terrifying. I know.
I’m holding former President Trump, and all those affected by today’s indefensible act of violence in my heart. Political violence is un-American and is never acceptable—never.

No dev has been promoted for choosing to buy a turnkey solution from a vendor. Plenty got for building from the ground up.
Engineers starting infra startups usually did just this.
But to make their startup successful: they need to get devs to sign off buying from a vendor.

Fascinating, the lifecyle of "buy vs build"
Devs working at product companies often decide to build (b/c they like the challenge/dislike vendors).
Then realize: this is hard.
Some found a startup & become a vendor.
Then they try to sell... to devs who would rather just build!

John MacArthur:
"I don't even support religious freedom. Religious freedom is what sent people to hell. To say I support religious freedom is to say I support idolatry. It's to say I support lies. I support hell. I support the kingdom of darkness."
Disturbing.

Extremist Christians love to claim they're all about "religious freedom," but the truth is that they hate the idea.
Sometimes when they're in a safe space, they admit this. Here's evangelical megachurch pastor John MacArthur telling you what they really think:
