After approx. 24 days at sea, the SpaceX Recovery team successfully guided Starship to a location just off the coast of Christmas Island. A team of SpaceX engineers is on their way to conduct additional analysis on the vehicle in calmer waters before attempting to return it to Starbase

In Memory of Justin Petschauer
July 22, 1989- August 13, 2026
For those who knew the INDYCAR iRacing Series, Justin was, unofficially, its ambassador.
He raced it. He followed it. He promoted it. He supported its drivers and the community around it. And for years, Justin was simply always there.
Beginning in August of 2022, Justin also became a regular member of the broadcast booth alongside Gary Godsoe, Stephen Laarkamp, and later Luis Gonzalez Nunez in Oval Fixed Series.
From his first broadcast at Texas through his final race at Legacy Phoenix on August 4th, Justin helped call approximately 140 races.
But more important than any number, Justin was our friend.
To his family, his friends, and everyone throughout the iRacing and IndyCar communities who knew him, all of us at P1 Broadcasting send our deepest condolences.
And thank you for everything.

Sometimes logging into X reminds you of the fragility of life. Today I saw that @JPets27 passed away suddenly. I raced with him on iRacing for, wow, well over a decade and I always would see him at the SKUSA SuperNats in Vegas. When I made it to INDYCAR I think he was more elated for me than I was. This year he made it to the 500 and we were going to meet up but never did make it work… the “see you next year” is now haunting.
Let your friends know what they mean to you. Let your loved ones know. It’s people like Justin that you just don’t know how much they mean, even in limited interactions, until they’re no longer there. He was authentic… he was an amazing supporter… and his dedication and love of motorsport was second to none.
