Matthew McConaughey’s tuna salad has wasabi mayo, agave, apples, olives, gherkins, hearts of palm, jalapeño chips from a jar, frozen peas and corn.
And it has to sit overnight.
I came in ready to laugh at it. By the end I wanted to make it. The man builds a tuna salad the way he builds a character.

New: A jury found 19-year-old Hadyn Dollery, a Loudoun County substitute teacher at John Champe High School, guilty of three counts of making written threats and one count of threatening a school.
He was acquitted of one count of making a written threat.
According to a criminal complaint and recent indictments, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office received a report on April 16 regarding written threats Dollery allegedly sent to a friend via Discord.
The messages—directed at family and friends—referenced a "murder spree" and a "kill list," resulting in charges for threatening a school shooting and threatening to bomb or destroy a building.

In 2010 Obama sent out John Brennan to speak to a group of Muslim leaders and advocates.
You already know that Brennan is a serial liar who has lied under oath many times. You know that he played a key role in orchestrating the Russia hoax. You know that Jack Smith's team was meeting with him to get his help with the lawfare against Trump. You probably already knew about his background with islam.
Still, this speech is shocking. If you listen to this entire video, you will see that it's worse than anything that the current day knock-off radicals like Abdul El-Sayed and Ilhan Omar have ever said.
This man was the CIA Director from 2013 to 2017. They might as well had chosen Osama bin Laden.

These people will stop at nothing to pervert and poison everything they touch.
They will do anything and everything to cling to their sin. They will twist the Scripture, rewrite morality, and mock Jesus Christ himself just to satisfy their carnal lust.
And I will not sit back and allow heretics, blasphemers, and reprobates try to take over Christianity and turn it into another piece of their rainbow vomit.
The homosexual movement, which feeds on feminism and progresses to transgenderism, is one of the most vile, disgusting, narcissistic, emboldened parasites of humanity.
The homosexual mind denies biological realities, immutable aspects of the self, and ultimately corrupts and degrades the heart and soul and mind piece by piece.

Jesus consistently prioritized the heart, mercy, and faith over external rule-keeping and social respectability. He ate with tax collectors and sinners, touched the unclean, and reserved his harshest words for the religious who used the law to exclude. A gay Christian who trusts Christ is not outside that pattern of grace.

Homosexuals attempting to insert themselves into Christianity is insufferable.
Identical to the transgenders trying to insert themselves into everything.
Know why? Because it's the same thing. Same pathology. Same narcissism and sociopathic deviance.

I am a gay Christian.
Jesus never condemned a man who loves a man. Genesis is about creation, not a rule against us. Leviticus is an old holiness code that also bans mixed fabric and certain foods. Romans 1 is about people who rejected God for idols. 1 Corinthians 6 is about abuse and exploitation, then Paul says that was their past. Sodom is about violence, not two men in love. None of that is my life.
Salvation is grace through faith in Christ. God made me and God loves me.

83-year-old CHRISTIAN grandmother EUTHANIZED AGAINST HER WILL in Canada
Brigitte Stegemann, who had been recently diagnosed with stomach cancer, was seemingly coerced into consenting to the MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying) program after being hounded by medical professionals in her nursing home care.
After FAILING a cognitive test, doctors decided to MOVE FORWARD with LETHAL INJECTION.
Reportedly, her hands were folded in prayer and her arms covered in blood as she took her final, stolen breaths.
“I don’t want the death shot,” is what she said before her tragic passing, according to her granddaughter.

This is Cheevers, a Yamparika (yahm-pah-ree-kah) Comanche leader, photographed in Washington in 1872 on the last trip his more famous grandfather ever made. He was the grandson of Ten Bears, and after that chief died he led the largest piece of the old band still holding together.
Ten Bears was Paruasemena (pah-roo-ah-seh-meh-nah), principal chief of the Yamparika from about 1860 until his death. Yamparika means Root Eaters, or Yap Eaters. Yap was a potato-like root they dug for food, an old Shoshone staple, and the name marks them as a northern Comanche division, often counted among the last to separate from the Shoshone. Spanish records in New Mexico knew them by the 1750s, when they were still mostly north of the Arkansas River. Later some of their local groups, including Ten Bears’s people, shifted south into the North Canadian valley in New Mexico and Texas. He also led the Ketahto (keh-tah-toh) local group, the Don’t Wear Shoes band, probably from the late 1840s. A division was the larger body. A local group was the community that actually camped and moved together.
He had already signed the Treaty of Fort Atkinson in 1853 and the Treaty of the Little Arkansas in 1865. At Medicine Lodge, Kansas, in October 1867, he gave the speech still quoted from that council, asking for peace and for room to keep moving on the prairie. He had been to Washington once before, in 1863, and got little for his people.
Cheevers went with him on the 1872 delegation, along with other Comanche and Kiowa leaders.
Government captions call the grandson He Goat or Male Goat, usually traced to a Spanish word for goat. Francis Joseph Attocknie (ah-tock-nee), a nephew who later preserved the family history, said the Comanche name was tsii putsi (tsee poot-see), little pitied one. Those two explanations do not agree, and both still travel with him. No separate first name is on record. Cheevers is the personal name as the agents wrote it. The word Tamparethka on the card the print was pasted to is a spelling of the Yamparika division, not a given name. That same card calls him a prominent man in his tribe and chief of his band.
Birth year is still disputed. One note says about 1858, which cannot fit a report that his parents died in the 1849 cholera epidemic. Attocknie family material puts the birth near 1842, which fits a band chief on that delegation better than a boy of fourteen. His parents’ names were not remembered. His sister Querherbitty (about 1847) later married Attocknie.
The trip failed in the way the earlier ones had failed. Promises were not kept. Ten Bears died at Fort Sill on November 23, 1872, soon after they returned, and was buried in the post cemetery. Cheevers then took the main portion of the Ketahto. On the early reservation that local group was the largest Comanche community still together. He did not become principal chief of the whole Yamparika division, and he never held the standing his grandfather had. The Ketahto had already split. Smaller portions stayed with sons or stepsons of Ten Bears, Isananaka (ee-sah-nah-nah-kah), Wolf’s Name, and Hitutatsi (hee-too-taht-see), Little Crow. Both died of unknown causes about 1883.
That is the generation after Medicine Lodge. Ten Bears is remembered for a speech. Cheevers is remembered, when he is remembered at all, for what came next: holding the main Ketahto community after the chief everyone still quotes was gone, while fragments of the same family led their own people a short distance away.

Well said doctor! I have turned down multiple 6 and 7 figure offers from supplement companies and others, and yet I still made the Grifter LIst. Oh well... – at Tennessee, USA
“Let Me Tell You About My Grift”
A physician recently published a post using AI to analyze 12 health influencers and their supposed “grifts.”
The individual is not worth platforming, but this it provides a useful springboard for a bigger conversation.
The medical and informational ecosystems are evolving, creating a new niche for professional scientific communicators.
If you watch the video below (10 minutes), you’ll see I’ve been transparent about why I’ve made the decisions I’ve made.
My path was shaped by my own health story and a belief that I can do more good by educating people and empowering them on their health journeys than by writing prescriptions.
But as this ecosystem evolves, some conventional clinicians seem uncomfortable that their professional influence is undermined by media educators. I’ve even had one old scholar cardiologist call me on the phone to complain “my patients are asking hard questions.”
“Sorry?” I guess 🙈
But find it ironic when a clinician uses AI to label me a "grifter," with the precise claim being that I have a YouTube with 1.3 million subscribers and a paid newsletter.
But I’ll do them one better.
Let me tell you about my grift.
Yes, I have a paid newsletter. #StayCurious Metabolism has become a top premium science newsletters on Substack. In 2026, we’ve held the #1 Rising Science position more often than every other science newsletter on the platform combined.
Subscriptions start at the “hefty” price of $8 per month (less than 67 cents per letter).
Why do people pay?
Judging by comments from my community, it’s because the information gives them knowledge and tools to take greater control of their health; to understand their biology and approach conversations with physicians as informed partners rather than passive objects to be “compliant.”
But here’s something else you might like to know.
I’ve repeatedly turned down substantial financial offers (including six-figure deals) from companies whose products I didn’t believe in or organizations I wasn’t comfortable affiliating with, including pharmaceutical companies.
I could have taken enough money from pharma to put a down payment on a house.
I didn’t. Not a cent.
My friends and colleagues can attest to that, and to the fact that I’ve been brutally transparent about my own health journey, even when doing so put my reputation at risk.
I’m doing what I’m doing not because it’s the easy path, but because I believe it’s the path where I can make the biggest impact.
I don’t say that to put myself above anyone else. As you’ll see in the video below, my entire social ecosystem is in medicine. And to me, these people are heroes. We need good clinicians.
But there is a particular species of small, bitter clinician who comes online primarily to take shots at other people.
My advice to them is simple: focus on being a great clinician.
And if you’re going to get on the internet, focus on contributing something intellectually valuable.
Because taking potshots at people who chose a different path isn’t intellectual contribution. It’s just a transparent signal that you want to be a thought “influencer” … but you’re not very good.
And at the end of the day, the insecure medical bullies remind me exactly why I do what I do. Because patients need power. And paternalistic medicine needs to die.

What began as a goal to homestead had flourished into a farm providing food for people all over the United States.
And the irony is that pulled away from the goal homestead, but then provided our family with more of our own farm produced food than we were making homesteading.
And in there is a real lesson in humility.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what vibe coding looks like once it starts touching real systems.
It’s easy to generate an app. The harder part is making sure that app isn’t bypassing the security controls your company already depends on.
For this video, I partnered with @superblocks and worked through that problem in practice: identity, credentials, dev vs. prod, deployment, security checks, and visibility.
People will build with AI. The question is whether they do it inside your security model or outside of it.
