What a joy it was to be back on the grounds in Clarendon today for the 72nd Denbigh Agricultural Show!
Walking through the exhibits and engaging with so many of you, I was incredibly proud to see the hard work and dedication of our Jamaican farmers, agro-processors, and our youth in agriculture.
Agriculture is the heartbeat of our nation. When we support our local farmers and 'eat what we grow,' we aren't just securing our food supply; we are building a stronger, more independent, and prosperous Jamaica for our children.
To everyone who came out, showcased their brilliant work, and made Denbigh 72 such a massive success, thank you. Let’s continue to invest in our soil, embrace technology in farming, and take our agricultural sector to higher heights.
The final day of the 72nd Denbigh Agricultural Show was amazing. The PM message was very positive.
Wishing Jamaica continued growth, prosperity and success. One love, one people, one Jamaica. 🇯🇲
Denbigh Day 1!! Definitely the best first day I have experienced . Bigger and better tomorrow. Minister of Agriculture Day! Youth day! #GrowingForward #NewFace #NewEra

New mercies, each returning day,
Hover around us while we pray;
New perils past, new sins forgiv'n,
New thoughts of God new hopes of heav’n.

@GreenGreenwich @TheGreenParty congratulations on the fantastic outcome of the 2026 Local Election.
It was great to receive this message "..thank you Ivis. Your role in setting off this potential landslide is not forgotten!.."
After another lie on Labour's leaflet, we will now have two @TheGreenParty councillors in Shooters Hill. Contratulations to @tamasinrhymes and Max Green.
These bikes are for sale, £150 RBG Voucher accepted 😀
Replying to @MattHartley100 @MrOkereke
Brilliant. The bike bribe one of the most ill thought out schemes they've come up with. I'd prefer they dealt with this rusting mass of bikes at Herbert Road / Edge Hill
What is it going to be...blue or green 😀
Spotted while campaigning: “Free bikes please take” 👀 Come on @MrOkereke, this is getting a bit ridiculous now

Power belongs in your hands, not just in Westminster.
Today, the English Devolution and Community Empowerment Bill finally passes into law, featuring a landmark Community Right to Buy.
This is massive win for community power and for the co-operative movement. 🐝

The same old question - where does the Greenwich Labour Party end and Greenwich Council begin? They simply can’t help themselves

Breaking Local News: Labour candidates confirmed at Shooters Hill Hustings that The King's Troop, which is based at the Woolwich Barracks will take over the use of the Greenwich Equstrian Centre.
@woodlandsft
@TaoBaker
Hopefully there will be a way to collaborate on the use of this community asset.
Its a shame that residents only hear of this agreement at the Hustings. Can @royal_Greenwich
confirm if and when they entered into an agreement with the King's Troop and how they have communicted this to local residents?

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.

This @BBCNews documentary strongly suggests that prevention failed not because of lack of awareness, but because of slow, fragmented and under resourced systems, leaving families isolated and children exposed to serious harm. As @Royal_Greenwich agrees it's budget, we hope that sufficient resources will be allocated to meet these challenges.
