Cole Knuble brought a spark.
The Flyers caught momentum (and a pulse).
And all just in time for Anaheim.
They might be able to make a climb.

There's a lot to criticize Sirianni for, but he got hung out to dry answering for Hurts' blood clot status yesterday.
Add that to a year already spiraling for numerous reasons, and that room – that building – just looks in the toilet right now.

"He's jumping on loose pucks. I mean, those goals are just goal-scorers' goals."
"It's great, the guy's out of his mind."
"This is not my work. This is teamwork."
The Flyers have won two straight, with Matvei Michkov rising to the occasion.

We've had brothers and cousins play for the Flyers before. We've had uncles (the Hillmans) and a nephew (Brian Savage). Even had a father (Bill Dineen) coach his son (Kevin).
But tonight was a first: father (Mike Knuble) and son (Cole) play for the team.

“Not a lot of brain cells”
“They're great. Bring a lot of energy for the team in the locker room, on the bench. They're having a blast, which goes up and down the line up.”
Mich unleashed.

Matvei Michkov scored his sixth goal in the team's 17th game as a rookie.
Last season, his sixth goal came in the 22nd game.
This season, six goals in 11 games.

Nick Sirianni basically isn’t answering questions about this Jalen Hurts situation. He keeps repeating that he’s not a medical expert and that the team cares for its players.
On a speech and a breakthrough to that first Flyers win...

All signs are pointing to Cole Knuble making his NHL debut tonight for the #Flyers.
"I’ve been a fan of this team my whole life, so I think it’s extra special.”
