Flyers Files | Ep. 1: Concerning Start to Season Turning a Corner? xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1Xxygwdmq…

I'll be on @SportsBash973 on @973espn with @MikeGillShow at 3:30 today for the latest on the #Flyers and their three-game winning streak ahead of Saturday afternoon's rivalry game against the Anaheim #Ducks. WATCH ⬇️ LISTEN: 973espn.com/listen-live/ #LetsGoFlyers

After tonight, Dan Vladar's SV% is up to .900. It was .816 after the opener. He's stopped 81 of 85 in his last three games — an insane .953 SV%. That .900 SV% is 19th in the NHL. Joseph Woll (.917 SV%) is tied for 10th. Both #Flyers goalies are Top 20 in SV%. #LetsGoFlyers

Six days ago, after the #Flyers lost their ninth straight game, I genuinely wondered if there would be any juice in the building for the Anaheim game. Just seemed there was no end in sight for the streak. Now they take a three-game winning streak into Saturday. #LetsGoFlyers

Dan Vladar had next to nothing to do for 16-17 minutes of the third period. And he saved his best stops for the end. Outstanding night by the #Flyers netminder. #LetsGoFlyers

Such poise by Knuble to make that play. Doesn't look out of place one bit in his second NHL game. #LetsGoFlyers

Completely predictable. #LetsGoFlyers

The #Flyers scoring summary in the first — with ages in parenthesis: - Knuble (22) from Bonk (21) and Barkey (21) - Zegras (25) from Michkov (21) and Drysdale (24) #LetsGoFlyers

Power-play goals? In three straight games? #LetsGoFlyers

What an awesome moment for Cole Knuble. That's a goal that will make his dad proud. He scored many times from that very spot. #LetsGoFlyers

Love this. I had the purple version of this as a kid.

Really happy to be back doing the #Flyers Files Podcast, and to be joined by @PhillyLix and @SGNolan this season. Three people, all who are in the building and giving you the inside look at the #Flyers. Our first episode of the season was live tonight. @BFAlivestream @973espn

This week's #Flyers Files Observations: the revenge tour appears to be back on for Matvei Michkov. Plus, should there have been more competition at camp? And the injuries are piling up. STORY for @973espn: 973espn.com/philadelphia-fly… #LetsGoFlyers

I distinctly remember a goal in Michkov's rookie season against Minnesota that looked just like this. Skate the perimeter of the zone, turn and fire through traffic. #LetsGoFlyers

Matvei Michkov scored his sixth goal in the team's 17th game as a rookie. Last season, his sixth goal came in the 22nd game. This season, six goals in 11 games. #LetsGoFlyers

Eventually teams are going to figure this out, but right now, if Michkov sees the space, he takes it. The entire Colorado PK just abandoned him and he crashed the net. #LetsGoFlyers

Follow @PhillyLix for live updates tonight. I'll be back in the barn on Saturday vs. Anaheim. #LetsGoFlyers
