One day, I was deep in prayer and asked the Lord to give me a reference that would help me comprehend His holiness. What I believe He impressed upon my heart left me speechless. “Everything tangible and intangible owes its existence to I. Start by considering the sun.” Think about it. The sun gives light, sustains life and is a consuming fire. Yet, for all its power and glory, it is merely a creation. Not even the Creator Himself. I wept. Because how do you begin to comprehend the holiness and majesty of a God whose creation alone is too powerful for you to approach? Yet this same God chose to come as man. To dwell among us. To relate with me. To love me. And then, as though that wasn’t enough, call me His own?! Do you understand the weight of that? The One who sustains all creation chose to have a relationship with me. This is why I stand in awe of Him. This is where my confidence comes from. Not in who I am, but in WHOSE I AM. ✝️

Widows really go through a lot in this country. It’s so unfair.

I hate the “marry a kind man” or “marry into the right family” talk because it absolves men and their families of accountability and burdens women. People expect women to overcalculate risks and predict not just how a man will treat them in marriage, but how a husband’s family will treat them if he dies. Men and their families can be irresponsible, cruel, or wicked, yet we will blame the woman’s choice. It is not a woman’s job to predict post-husband treatment. Men’s families should treat brothers’ wives and children as human beings. Using one woman’s suffering to lecture other women about better choices is foolish.

Not every connection is meant for romance. Some people are sent into your life to build with you. Don’t let a carnal mind turn a divine connection into a distraction. Grow beyond the desires of the flesh. #PGeeman #KingdomWisdom

You must not afflict any widow or orphan. If you afflict them in any way and they cry to me, I will surely hear their cry, and my anger will burn and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives will be widows and your children will be fatherless. Exodus 22:22-24

Hi everyone, I’m Marvellous, some of you know me as Ini. I’m a few months from finishing my MPH at NYU. I planned for this year with a student loan and a summer internship but it didn’t come through. Then this month, MPOWER shut down. I was on their waitlist. #FundDrMarvellous

PRESS RELEASE LAGOS DSVA RELEASES DIRECTORY OF GBV STATE COORDINATORS IN NIGERIA The Lagos State Government, through the Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA), has released a directory of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) State Coordinators across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The directory is an outcome of continued efforts to strengthen national coordination and collaboration among GBV response stakeholders, following the landmark two-day National Convening of GBV State Coordinators hosted by Lagos State, with support from the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC II) Programme @rolacng, funded by the European Union @EUinNigeria and implemented by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IIDEA) @IntIDEA_NG. The directory provides key contact details of GBV State Coordinators, serving as a practical resource to support reporting, referrals, and access to appropriate response services for survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence. It is designed to strengthen coordination and referral pathways among stakeholders working in GBV prevention and response, while making it easier for citizens to identify and connect with the appropriate state-level contacts. The Lagos State Government encourages individuals, organisations, government institutions, civil society organisations, community groups, and other stakeholders to make use of the directory and share it widely within their networks. DSVA remains committed to strengthening collaboration, supporting coordinated GBV response, and improving access to timely and appropriate services for survivors across Nigeria. I have accepted that some friendships are for a season. We were close once, now we're not. It happens. Not everything must last forever.

Personally, I'm at peace with friendship dynamics changing, some friendships are for a season, some are for a lifetime. But you see all that secrecy, information staging and manipulation, count me out of all that nonsense.
