ALT my ACTUAL hot take is that dating scandals are a valid thing to be upset about..don't be an idol if you want to date!! western fandoms don't understand it often but in japan fans seriously spend so so so much money and so much of their life devoted to their oshi..only for all their memories and money spent feeling like a important part of their life to be turned into something that makes them feel horrible. I think it's okay after they stop being an idol but it really isn't actually weird for people to expect their oshi follows the policies/rules expected. you don't HAVE to agree but imo you shouldn't attack people who are upset by it
