i felt that primetime, digger, and you can see everything all pretty interestingly engage with a common theme -- we desire lolcows, and the rippling effects this has across Everything
the question of 'truth' is tied up with this in all three of these movies

Bismarck Analysis' Atlas of Live Players and Institutions cartogram. Find it funny that the two Italian microstates (Monaco, Vatican) each have as many as Italy itself. The US is the most covered by far, not sure how much of this is home bias (vs China especially).

I enjoyed the film You Can See Everything, which I saw yesterday. I am interested in people who construct delusions for themselves and the ambiguity that creates about their self-awareness, especially because itβs something that I personally do not and would never do.

Elizabeth Holmes pursues honesty through pathological lying, total power over her own narrative by manipulating men by letting them rob her of her own voice. in the end, she is content to have βwonβ on her terms; only one person in the entire film can see that she has still lost.

AI is not a scam. It is a new medium of language which is ushering in a new media environment. Recall how Socrates (and, accordingly, the Egyptian king Thamus) and Christ responded to the blossoming emergence of writing. With these precautions in mind, face History without fear.

Everyone who has ever spoken about "work/life balance", the "life" side of the coin is nothing but consumerismβI love to "travel", I'm a "foodie", I have my "hobbies". They used to talk about work/family balance, but the normie consumeroid has no family; they rush home to doomscroll brainrot, sex apps, and "shopping therapy". Man was put on this earth to carve marble into castles and smolt iron to enslave the labor to stack the quarry blocks high, and from his castle, he pens letters and paints to praise divinity and discover him through nature and a woman; and that lord who doesn't, but lays down in a velvet coffin lives a worse life than the slave, laboring at the yoke is a better purpose than living death of ennui. Industry is the greatest virtue, and depression the worst sinβthe work must never end.
