the devils is also abt this sort of girardian thing but it doesnt slot so cleanly in.
i felt that primetime, digger, and you can see everything all pretty interestingly engage with a common theme -- we desire lolcows, and the rippling effects this has across Everything the question of 'truth' is tied up with this in all three of these movies

perhaps not so weirdly but YCSE made me really think abt the lacanian aphorism, "there is no sexual relationship", and how much this is exemplified btwn holmes and evans, both trapped in their self-referential worlds and yet... the love is real ?

thinking a lot about the irony of [someone] in the fielder documentary insisting, repeatedly, "well that's fiction, it's fine, it doesn't have to be truthful!" when that is situated in the rest of this documentary which problematizes the bounds btwn fiction/truth-telling

kind of my complaint with the audiences at the nathan fielder movie tbqh
I understand that sometimes you’re watching a film and something funny happens so you laugh out loud but what is going on with a few people that are just cackling at every single thing that happens?

I think its funny that Deadlock gets strapped with the whole "Moba so decided at minute 10" thing when its got some of the MOST GENEROUS comeback mechs in any moba to where games are potentially flippable at 35 quite comfortably even behind 20k plus later on

I can't believe Nathan Fielder was behind Digger the whole time. Unbelievably surreal
