Support for Snapdragon 850 (Cortex-A75) ends with [Ge]. It is a LTS OS, so it will still live more years in peaceful retirement with security update benefits. Alas, it won't get new features.

Microsoft is officially drawing the line on another generation of Windows on Arm hardware. windowscentral.com/microsoft
With Windows 11 version 26H2, support for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 850 processor reaches its final chapter, making this release the last officially supported version of Windows for devices powered by the chip. The Snapdragon 850 was a milestone for Microsoft and Qualcomm, serving as the first processor purpose-built for Windows PCs rather than adapted from smartphones. While affected devices can still run Windows 11 26H2 and receive security updates for the next two years, they won’t be eligible for Windows 11 version 27H2. The move signals Microsoft’s continued push toward newer hardware and platforms as Windows evolves. For users holding onto early Arm-based PCs, the countdown has officially begun, marking the end of an important era in Windows on Arm history.

it used to be that 500ft AGL (Above Ground Level) belonged to the property on the ground. The FAA (F* Again and Again) knew they had a problem coming with drone air traffic and light aicraft. How did they resove it? (to be cont)

They didn’t. They just “authorized” these to fly on people’s airspace. So, what legal consequences does someone risk if they actively or passively “interfere” with one of these, in the updated regulation? Haven’t checked - but I will.

By the way, light aircraft pilots suffer heavy fines and can easily lose their license if flying under 500ft AGL, even in the vicinity of airfields.

My new Voight Kampff test is to ask the subject under test to implement something- can be simple- in VHDL-93, strictly IEEE. Even a simple 4 bit counter with enable and reset lines causes most models to keel over, deadlocking themselves till they run out of resources.

Opened another couple of pre-move boxes, or as my wife calls them call him Pedro's time capsules. And then I found them: The Bibles!

my apologies to Patterson. I then had limited funds. I had to resort to photocopies of his book. I am proud to say that since then I've purchased this book if nothing else to pay back my debt.

The crushing majority of browser vulns come from JavaScript Just-in-time compilation. A ton of works has been done on interpreted JS. Do yourselves a favor: the security is worth the small perf price.

We should not criticize what is given for free, but this website has had far too much to drink whilst drawing Spice netlists...
