Does anybody else feel like life never really went back to normal after 2020? And I’m not talking about masks, lockdowns, or any of the political debates. I mean the feeling of life itself. Everything technically returned to "normal." The stores reopened. The roads got busy again. People went back to work. Life kept moving. But something still feels different. The years seem to pass faster than ever. Friendships feel more distant. Conversations feel shorter. People seem more distracted, more exhausted, and less present. It’s hard to explain because nothing obvious is missing. Yet somehow it feels like we lost something important along the way. Life used to feel slower. More connected. More genuine. There was a sense of optimism, excitement, and possibility that’s difficult to describe now. Maybe we're all just getting older. Or maybe 2020 changed people in ways we're still trying to understand. I can't put my finger on exactly what was lost. I just know that life used to feel a lot more alive than it does today.

Iowa State has announced that Tamin Lipsey — who’s seeking a fifth year of eligibility — will return in 2026-27, per release. Lipsey recently was part of a court injunction in the State of Indiana.

Just so I understand: The NCAA can retroactively vacate wins and losses that happened 5 years ago because a guy took a cheeseburger or made money off his image before NIL, but can’t vacate a very clear instance where the wrong team won a game after being gifted a free play!?
The FBS Oversight Committee said in a statement that instant replay protocols were not followed on the second-to-last play of the Western Michigan-Michigan game. Had they been followed, the committee says the games outcome would have been different, but the result cannot be changed.

If the proper protocols for replay weren’t followed then the FBS Oversight committee should overturn the result of the game and make Western Michigan the winner of the game against Michigan. Period. End of Story. Saying “hey they got it wrong, but we won’t fix it” only makes it worse and is a slap in the face to the fans of football everywhere.

The NCAA says Big Ten officials broke the rules and Michigan shouldn’t have won. But they can’t do anything about it.
We're sorry Western Michigan. NCAA Football Oversight Committee said if instant replay protocals at Michigan had been correctly followed, game's outcome would have been different. But they can't overturn the result. Remains a Michigan victory on3.com/news/fbs-oversight-c…

Dear @NCAA We all hate you. You've done a terrible job doing anything the last 5 years. You have a chance to win some of us back, at least a little bit. Fix the Western Michigan game. Signed, Everyone who believes in the integrity of the game.

The MAC now says the Big Ten blew it and violated instant replay protocols and Western Michigan actually won the game.

I flatly refuse to be gaslit into thinking the stadium clock isn't the real clock. "Oh I'm sorry, that totally makes sense that the real clock is the one only four people can see!" give me a break man.

Yesterday I learned in college football there are 3 clocks. The stadium clock, the game clock and the super secret third clock that is only revealed when Michigan is losing a football game that supersedes the other two

Which one is it? A. Clock hit zero in front of everyone and the game is over. OR B. There is a super-better clock that no one can see, and has never come up before, and only the refs in the booth have access to.
