Truly, the privilege of hearing her mellifluous voice,up close, was mine. In 1996 GoTN renamed Chennai’s Marshalls Road after my grandmother, eminent patriot Rukmini Lakshmipathi. At the behest of my uncle the late great Neurosurgeon Dr. B. Ramamurthi, MS rendered the invocation.
Life comes a full circle when your eldest son writes about how he developed his eclectic taste of music.

Congratulations on yr appointment Mr. Sameeran. Godspeed for yr efforts to get our beloved Chennai on her feet. As @AadhavArjuna said, Chennai must host the National Games & we must all work for that. I was technical Delegate for golf @ 2022 NG, Ahmedabad, if they can, so can we.
