How to start playing instruments with your voice on Windows 🎤
(from imitone.com)
Introducing imitone beta 12 with a full GUI for our VST plugins on Windows.

ALT A screenshot of the imitone plugin running inside REAPER on Windows. imitone is tuned to a blues scale and is controlling a SWAM-brand tenor saxophone plugin.
We are developing an experimental "docking" GUI to help keep imitone in tune when multiple plugins and mics are in use. We expect a few quirks to pop up as people try this with different DAWs; don't hesitate to reach out if you run into trouble.

Testing @interactopia to transform your voice into any instrument. Here's a test where I'm "singing" Halo theme then whistling Jurassic Park. Apparently, I still need a lot of practice! 🤣

OUT TODAY ✨ COMMON TONALITIES
From Nov 21 to Feb 22, the twenty amazing artists here and I worked together through a series of workshops on tuning and music-making to explore the possibilities of expression and experimentation of their native cultures from across South East Asia
Working through new reports after completing part of a big code overhaul.
Expect some bugfixes in your inbox tomorrow!
Our April Fools' day prank last year drove one of our users ABSOLUTELY NUTS. He turned his monitor upside down!
So, yesterday's software update removes it.
In its place, we added several new features for musical performances and recording sessions... 🧵
Third, we added a button to modify vibrato depth range, similar to the control that appears when using pitch bend. We made both of these buttons more visible.
Behind the scenes, we overhauled imitone's code in order to lay the groundwork for our next major update, which will focus on our plugins.

Hey, have we mentioned this year's event will take place in a custom-built, MUD-inspired social space?
Well, it will! We're working our @'s off at scrubbing the jelly off the walls, digging out new rooms, and hiding all manner of new and delightful secrets.
ALT A screenshot of a portion of the social space. There's navigation links as well as an ASCII dungeon map on the left. The room is titled "Central Hall", and the description begins, "A magnificent hall stretches ahead of you, reminiscent of the grand terminal of a metropolis." The rest of the description is cut off. There are also buttons for "join video and audio", "join audio", and "enable text only mode".
