Painting by local artist D Hedderman - Schooner at Carrigaholt Quay & Mac Mahon tower house (painted 1970s & hanging at Carmody’s Pub Carrigaholt). I was happy to fulfill a modest desire when I brought Ilen alongside the very same wall last week. Ilen back at Carrigaholt tonight
Ilen at Limerick Dock awaiting her next crew, anchorage tomorrow afternoon at Carrigaholt when her Shannon Estuary water survay (“citizen science” no less, as I have recently been informed) will get completed.
