This is a great exercise that is very revealing...I’ve always deferred to the opinion of guys who played the game, as to the talent level and importance of athletes when we evaluate them. The #ROCKIES #Helton scores high marks with his brethren. Love @KevinFrandsen on #Bonds

I see the hitter when he's moved in the box, like when he's moved closer to the plate or changed his stance. I see when the batter has moved his feet, and then I make my own adjustment. -Mariano Rivera

Okay, I have too much time on my hands today which got me thinking @JPosnanski: What’s the Greatest Last Name in Baseball History? At least 2 players w/same last name. Josh & Bob Gibson have to rank near the top. Who yawl got? @MLB @TheAthletic @MLB_PLAYERS @Royals @vgregorian RT

Zach Schwartz met Gleyber Torres in spring training and asked Torres to hit a homer for him. Torres winked and then hit a HR. The courageous Zach died at the age of 14 on Sept. 1 after a battle w/ leukemia. I remember how thrilled Zach was to meet Gleyber. Prayers to his family

Have the @Eagles signed a new kicker? Not exactly, but world champion soccer player @CarliLloyd stopped by the Birds' practice and showed off her leg with some impressive field goals. More coverage from camp --> on.nbc10.com/3ZGoav2

Don't complain about that player grabbing all the headlines when you didn't put in the additional work.
I wish I would've did this I wish I would've did that. #PlayBall

Wasn’t as productive as I want to be on the plate this weekend but I played solid as I can be behind it. Overall, we did good as a team, reaching the semis before thunderstorms rolled in @StriveSoftball @iLetsPlayBall @softball_dugout @SoftballConnect @TheCatchingGuy @TCSFastpitch
