Great to work with @wsfroyaldocks on their exciting #communityled plans & to hear @bateswalsall1 of @LeathermktJMB & @LevLondon of @CLHLondon sharing their experience of #communityledhousing delivery. @rokhsanafiaz @MayorofLondon @tomcopley
Great to see @tomcopley on stage congratulating @tonichousing the first occupied Community Housing Fund funded scheme in London.
And it's happened. @tonichousing first #LGBT+ retirement housing is officially opened! 🥂🎉🎊 A long journey, with huge determination & effort, from hundreds of people with great support from @MayorofLondon, @tomcopley & many more. Massive congrats. Especially to Anna Kear.
Great @CommLandTrusts event & presentation on funding community led housing by @tomhousing & Catherine Harrington. Big need for stable long term funding from @mhclg & @hmtreasury. With @ChrisPincher and @danny__kruger @CommLedHousing Lots of +ve name checks for @richardbaconmp
Fame again for @bateswalsall1 & @kymigloo! It's an old picture because these 100% genuinely affordable community owned homes are now lived in. With more on the way thanks to @lb_southwark @LeatherMktCBS
I’ll put the land under your feet back in your hands.
With me as Mayor, we’d work together to find space we can put to better community uses, like @LeathermktJMB residents did here in Southwark.
This will be our People's Land Commission and it will change London for good.
