What is old becomes brand new again. Jorge Grau's 1974 The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue - with its overtones of fascism, oppression and tech-phobia, is as current today as it was then. Listen to the latest ep to hear us wax poetic on this Spanish-Italian zombie masterpiece

This was the only video I could find of this clip. Unfortunately it cuts the end of George's (Ray Lovelock) response to the inspector (Arthur Kennedy), with the blunt reply of 'you make it easy'.

The 50th anniversary is coming up, and I’m celebrating. In addition to my episode on Rocky V with @boxingmoviepod I am writing a piece on the original Rocky for @SatEvePost and recording an episode with @ifwtpod both to be release in Nov.
Sylvester Stallone’s crowning achievement will always be the script for the first Rocky, a film that’s now officially 50 years old. The lore behind this film & Stallone is real & nor exaggerated - Stallone went to hell & back to make this movie. It’s a piece of Cinema history. Not to mention a winner of the Oscar for Best Picture.

Andrew is not only a fantastic guest every time he comes on the show, but he's an absolute boxing savant with the writing chops to back it up. Make sure to pick up his upcoming pulp novel!
Pre-sales available for ABOARD THE OLD BUOY, my throwback pulp novel being published by Cornerstone Press. There's plenty of vintage pulp action -- a voodoo curse, a battle royale, a blood cult, and a sparring robot -- plus loads of Easter eggs for the more serious boxing fans.

Just learnt that IFWT guest and friend, an absolute sweetheart, terrific writer and film lover, Suzanne Boleyn has passed. Suzanne was an astute critic with a deep love of cinema - especially anything vampire related! What a loss. RIP, my friend

When I read through my first script I made 12 pages of notes for a second draft. For my second script I’ve made 16. Always nice to make more work for yourself. Some serious editing is about to go down. #WritingCommmunity
