I’m incredibly optimistic about the future. But don’t confuse the future with inevitability.
What the ‘future’ looks like changes every day. The future you desire can only be created by you.
Don’t wait for someone else to build it for you, as their ideal future likely isn’t the same as yours.

Hearing from the rumor mill: a frontier lab is preparing to release a new model that is better than their old model. In response, other frontier labs are reportedly releasing new models that are better than their old models. One of these will be the best. It may be a surprise.
this is great but at the same time very unsettling
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.
In the post below, we share more details about our new fund.

Turns out DeepSeek harness improves the score of DeepSeek V4.1 Flash by 2-3 points on average.
It also costs 80% more due to subagents and more output tokens.
New results:
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 + Claude Code harness:
- max, mean of 7: 39.1
- high, mean of 5: 36.4
- low, mean of 5: 34.4
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 + DeepSeek harness:
- max, mean of 7: 42.7
- high, mean of 5: 39.2
- low, mean of 5: 34.8
For comparison:
GPT-6 Astra, max: 45
Opus 5.5, max: 41.7
Muse Wonder Full 1.0, max: 42
It's a crazy model, and the only one catched cheating. All the results are available on the benchmark website.
man I thought people were just quote tweeting some meme proposal. it seems to be real. their model can kill upto 49 people and they want it to be not considered a state emergency.

Hate the platforms that doesn't let me delete my account or let me delete my credit card especially when there's no 3DS enabled.
One of the reasons why I don't sign up at lot of places. Last month I signed up at few places and forgot to delete. Idk which ones I signed up for.
the closest thing that comes to mind when reading this is - "if you're homeless just buy a house".
if Accenture is paying $10k/mo, they'd probably give more credits. that's not the case by a huge margin.
same goes for many enterprises actually.

We gave DeepSeek’s updated V4.1-Flash-1017 the same 100 pull requests with known vulnerabilities and an hour per PR to find them in the @BugBunny_ai VulnPR-100 benchmark.
It found 54 for just $7.53, making it the best-performing open-weight model on our leaderboard.
That matches Grok 4.6’s 54 findings at roughly 16× lower review cost. It also finishes only three findings behind Gemini 4 Argon while costing roughly 22× less.
The previous DeepSeek V4.1 Flash found 44 for $12.79. The update catches 10 more vulnerabilities while costing 41% less, bringing the cost down to just $0.14 per vulnerability found.
Better recall, lower cost, and the strongest open-weight result we’ve measured. Seriously impressive work from the @deepseek_ai team.
