Just launched Comu, the world's smallest RISC-V board in your USB port, on @crowd_supply !
It's a bite-sized gadget that lets you have fun with bare-metal programming and the USB protocol with CH32V203, a chip with tons of peripherals
Check it out here: crowdsupply.com/icy-electron…
Icepi Zero v1.4 prototypes just got soldered. Now with some QOL updates and a way for the chip to hot-reboot!
By the way, I'll be running a new Campaign soon. Check it out here: crowdsupply.com/icy-electron…
Just won my first Hackathon! (2nd place, blockchain hackathon @EPFL)
We were the youngest participants, and had no prior blockchain experience. Yet we still won by sleeping only 1 hour.
Now I can call myself a crypto bro😂
Thanks to @Swissquote for sponsoring the event!
Laying out the LPDDR4X routing for my RK3588 SBC.
Routing on 6 layers when the manufacture recommends 10 sure is fun :)

Tiny RISC-V board that mostly fits inside a USB connector
cnx-software.com/2026/08/10/…
The Comu board features a 144 MHz @WCH_Tech CH32V203 RISC-V MCU and measures just 13 x 9.4 mm (slightly smaller than a microSD card), while still exposing two white LEDs, four capacitive touch buttons, and six GPIOs.
The development board is designed for lightweight bare-metal C/C++ development and is said to work well with the ch32fun project.
Latest project: Coin-sized CH32V203 that fits in a USB port.
It integrates a custom 2KB USB boot-loader, it's perfect as a USB HID device or bare-metal USB explorer.
I've put some up on Lectronz if anyone wants one: lectronz.com/products/comu (Mostly at cost)
Made a custom USB bootloader for the 40 cent ch32v203: 1944 bytes, no HAL, no external libs.
Uses the USBD peripheral so works with the QFN20 chip, unlike the built-in bootloader that doesn't work.
Now my v203 board that fits inside a USB connector can be easily written to!
I wonder why WCH needed to reserve 28 whole KiBs for their bootloader... github.com/cnlohr/ch32fun is such a good way to work baremetal with ch32 chips.
My newest project's PCB came in! A ch32v203 board that fits in a USB port. (~$5 too!)
Now I just need to write a bootloader...
