ICPixel Beta is coming this October. 🧊
This is by far the biggest update we’ve made to the editor.
New UI. Reworked tools. Better workflows. Better performance. A lot of features rebuilt from the ground up and plenty we haven’t shown yet.
We’re getting very close. 👀
$PIXEL remains available at 0.1 $ICP per pixel until the Beta update, when the allocation price will change to 0.15 $ICP.

This time I didn’t just make “something inspired by” pixel culture... I recreated one of the most famous NFTs ever made.
It’s CryptoPunk #5822, one of the rare Alien Punks from the original CryptoPunks collection launched by Larva Labs back in 2017. The collection had 10,000 pixel characters, became one of the defining symbols of early NFT culture, and #5822 later sold for $23.7 million.
So yes, some people paid $23.7M for the original.
I recreated mine with @icpixeleditor just for fun.

I have to admit, @icpixeleditor is a pretty well-thought-out tool, and I'm really enjoying playing around with it.
I've always loved art, so naturally I had to create a pixel art version of a painting by my favorite artist.
This is just a small section of the painting, and it's not exactly one of his better-known works. Guessing both the artist and the painting might be a bit more challenging this time. 😁 $ICP
