Some of my posts upset part of the internet-computer:native community, but you know, if you had been following me for the past few years, you would know that my story and my opinion about certain people in this ecosystem have not really changed. The only difference is that some of the things I said before have now proven to be true, and more people than before are starting to see things they unfortunately didn’t see earlier.
My opinion of ICP has not really changed since I first started following its development. I still believe ICP is a phenomenal project and deserves far more attention. I don’t want to be some kind of influencer, nor do I want to monetize my social media content, so what I post is simply my opinion... and I have every right to express it. Whenever I’ve made serious claims, I’ve always provided evidence, and I don’t think I’ve ever accused someone of something they didn’t actually do. I absolutely do not hate anyone in this or any other community, but whenever I have the time, I will always fight for the truth.
I also have every right to express my opinion about Jerry, who has a long history of manipulative and dishonest behaviour, and I have solid evidence for that which I’ve posted more than once. Yet there is always someone who comes along and says, “this project sucks” or “I don’t like it,” and suddenly that gives Jerry full permission to shit all over that project and its developers... even when what he says is false. There is no point arguing with people like that, and they certainly don’t deserve to be treated kindly.
I also want to address marketing in ICP.
Yes, ICP needs marketing. But marketing is not a process where the community simply decides what should be promoted and how, because, with all due respect, very few people actually understand what marketing is or how complex it is.
What many people seem to think marketing means is simply having a bunch of people shill ICP, with no audience targeting whatsoever, as long as as many videos as possible are pumped out and as many impressions as possible are generated. And impressions are pushed to the front because anyone with half a brain understands that actual views matter far more.
But even video content itself is only one small part of marketing. Marketing is a much broader discipline.
Some people, like Alex, actually produce video content that is worth watching, and I have to admit that I like his style even though we disagree on many things.
Now let’s get to what I actually have a problem with.
I will never — and I mean never — accept people like Jerry and Bobby as the faces of ICP. I’ve already said this a thousand times.
Both of them are full of toxicity, arrogance and ego — exactly the kind of traits marketing does not tolerate well.
One of them has spent years making videos about other projects supposedly going to zero, speaking against meme coins, and is now behaving in complete contradiction to what he spent all those years preaching. On top of that, he is unstable in his character and behaviour, and people like that have no place anywhere near serious marketing.
Sure, at times he can be funny or entertaining, but that does not erase all the bad things he has done over the years.
The other one constantly tries to drag people into debates where he presents himself as intellectually superior and everyone else as inferior. He keeps pushing his own narrative without really listening to what anyone else has to say, and then wonders why nobody wants to debate him.
Relax, man. You’re not Crypto Jesus.
I’m sure both of them have introduced some people to ICP. But it is also obvious that we are still a very small community, and their actual impact is nowhere near as significant as they seem to believe it is. At the same time, they also damage the ecosystem through their toxic behaviour.
On the other hand, after listening to one of Jerry’s latest videos and reading some of the comments from others, I’m now hearing that DFINITY should apparently start following the same path as networks like Solana... the same Solana people used to accuse of bribery, dishonesty and deceptive marketing.
Now suddenly Solana’s marketing is amazing.
I believe ICP can succeed without playing those kinds of dirty games.
And some people have made a very important observation.
Jerry is sick and needs professional help, and everyone who keeps encouraging and reinforcing his behaviour and decisions he makes is probably doing him more harm than I am by criticizing him.
This text is polished by ChatGPT... mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
I think @CambrinNolan makes a fair distinction.
Putting a game on-chain doesn’t automatically make it better. The interesting part is what sits around the games — ownership, shared assets, economies, and community control.
You don’t need every frame of gameplay on-chain to get something meaningful out of it. $ICP
Replying to @CrazyWorldTimez
Unless its utilizing ICP's best offerings, its just a novelty and you might as well build it on Web2
What icp has to offer gaming is...
- Real ownership of Assets
- Assets Security
- Asset interopability (across multiple games especially)
- Decentralized Economies with Trustless automation between players and hub
- Verifiability like randomness
- Community Democracy with control of code
These are all amazing things but not easily organized in a meaningful setup that really convey themselves
Thats why with INFINITY Arcade the cryptocentric emphasis is in it as a gaming hub than the games themselves
The games are assets and biggest cogs in the economy but are also influenced by the NFTs they help users buy
We cant do real time multiplayer with WOW or AOE, it has to be turned-based, but if we keep it single player we can do tons
Your community already knows what you're building. The challenge is getting people outside it interested.
@clownitx gives independent creators a reason to make those introductions.
That's InfoFi in action on $ICP.
Crypto is full of announcements that get plenty of likes from the same familiar accounts.
But how many of those posts actually reach someone new?
With @clownitx, projects can incentivize independent creators to introduce their work to different audiences, using their own words and perspectives.
And that's an important distinction. You're not simply paying for another announcement. You're giving people a reason to start conversations around your product.

Jerry:
"I know many of you think I'm crazy person."
"I'm NOT !!!"
Also Jerry:
"I just spent tens of thousands of $ on dating and borrowed 100k on credit cards..."
We're about to switch the ICP Dashboard to a new version: every number is read straight from the chain, and the dashboard itself is served from a canister. internet-computer:native

I've been following the game @icprenegades is developing, but there's another part of Renegade that deserves attention.
Their Charity section allows approved causes to receive direct $ICP donations. No token trading, no platform fees.
One of the initiatives aims to provide tents, food and clothing to homeless people in Colorado Springs.
I like seeing projects put their technology to use outside the usual crypto activities. This is one example I'd genuinely like to see succeed.

I might have taken the word "Launchpad" a little too literally. 🚀
But that's essentially what @PrinterOTC is building on Solana.
Bring your idea, create a coin, an NFT collection, or both. Set up your rewards, customize your project, and give it a place of its own.
The launchpad is ready. What you build is up to you.

Been exploring the @PrinterOTC Launcher, and here's something I'd love to see.
A collection of miniature pixel-art cars. Sports cars, classics, off-roaders, race cars... each with its own design and rarity. Some common, others genuinely difficult to find.
Something closer to collecting Hot Wheels than just another NFT collection.
I'd actually enjoy building a virtual garage full of these. 😄

Another little experiment with @icpixeleditor.
I have a feeling only true music enthusiasts will recognize this one. Especially those who appreciate a bit of music history.
No Google Lens, no cheating. Anyone? 😁

I imagine this is what happens when Pierre gets a little too comfortable playing @Empierrepump. 😂
For context, Jerry Banfield claimed Pierre unfollowed him on X after a disagreement over $ICP marketing, followed by Jerry's rather spectacular changes of heart about ICP.
Apparently, all that flip-flopping was too much for the Emperor.
An unfollow on X is one thing. Getting kicked out of the Roman ICPire is quite another. 🤣

Someone on @soonlaunchpad clearly has a very sophisticated sense of humor and an even greater affection for Dominic Williams. 🤦♂️
I've lost count of how many tokens related to Dominic have appeared on the platform.
At this point, I'm starting to wonder whether it's a launchpad or an unofficial Dominic Williams fan club.
That's an extraordinary amount of love for one man. 🤣

Building a project is a bit like building with LEGO. 🧱
A coin or NFT collection is just one piece of the puzzle.
With the @printerotc Launcher, creators can put the rest together too: artwork, project pages, communities, and reward distribution.
You bring the idea, choose the pieces, and build something of your own.

Your next users might not even follow a single account in your ecosystem.
That's why reaching beyond your usual crowd matters.
@clownitx makes those introductions possible. $ICP
One of the biggest limitations in crypto marketing is how often projects end up promoting themselves to people who already know everything about them.
You see the same accounts, the same discussions, and often the same audience across dozens of posts.
There’s nothing wrong with keeping your community informed, but that alone won't bring many new people in.
With @clownitx, projects can involve creators who have their own audiences, interests, and ways of communicating. Someone who would never follow your official account might still discover your product through a creator they already pay attention to.
And because ClownitX is an InfoFi dApp built on $ICP, those opportunities aren't restricted to one blockchain ecosystem.
Sometimes reaching new people means letting someone else introduce your work.
I think @CambrinNolan is making an important distinction here. There's nothing inherently wrong with rewarding players for their time. The problem starts when earning becomes the main reason to play.
If the games are enjoyable and the rewards complement the experience rather than define it, that's a much healthier foundation to build on. $ICP
I despise Play-to-Earn but you do play to earn tickets in INFINITY Arcade
The difference is...
- Tickets are $ICP stabled
- No Minting Vaporous Coins
- Bot Farming impractical/difficult
- Infinite amount of Games
There is no straight forward way to extract
I've recreated Gilmour, Van Gogh painting, album covers by Pink Floyd and Mike Oldfield, Yoda, and even a $23.7 million NFT with @icpixeleditor.
But since photography is another passion of mine, I figured it was time to try something different.
What happens when you take one of your own photographs and try to recreate it using just 60 × 40 pixels?
Well, here's my attempt. 😄
btw, this was my previous X profile picture.

Imagine Van Gogh having access to @printerotc. 🎨
He could launch his own coin, create an NFT collection from his paintings, build a community around his art, and even set up rewards for holders.
That's essentially what the Printer Launcher offers creators on Solana. From the initial idea to a launched project, with its own dedicated page.
You bring the creativity. Printer provides the tools.

I think @icprenegades is taking the right approach here.
He's not making accusations or jumping to conclusions. He's asking questions and giving Soonlaunchpad an opportunity to respond.
That's exactly the kind of scrutiny I'd like to see more often in crypto, especially when people are putting their own money into projects and tokens.
Asking legitimate questions shouldn't be seen as an attack. It's a necessary part of building trust. $ICP
Looks like @soonlaunchpad has been publicly challenged. 👀
It'll be interesting to see how they respond, if they respond at all.
What do you think about all this? I'd like to hear opinions from both sides. $ICP

First it was just a coin.
Then the Roman emperor memes started.
Now I wouldn’t be surprised if, somewhere deep down, he’s already imagining himself entering the arena like Empierre, ready to bring order to the entire blockchain empire.
One more meme and he might fully commit to the character. 🤣
