1931年土耳其教科书鼓吹土耳其人创造了包括中国、印度在内的古代各个文明。它承认中华文明的成就，但将中华文明描述为古代土耳其人创造的，称“全世界所钦佩的中国文明，其实要归功于土耳其人的迁徙。土耳其人首次出现在中国北方至少要追溯到公元前7000年。土耳其人以他们的公民知识、高尚的道德和纯洁朴实的信仰在中国定居”。
这部教科书甚至称中国早期的各个王朝也为土耳其人创建，如：
“中国是一个缺乏地理、种族和历史统一性的国家……夏商周的创建者是土耳其人……秦人属于数千年来一直居住在甘肃地区的土耳其部落”。“中国北方是第一个被土耳其人文明化的地区……土耳其人将中国土著带出石器时代，并带领他们走向文明。”
对苏美尔文明、希腊文明等，他们同样有“土耳其人奠基”的表述。这与“太阳语言理论”（Güneş Dil Teorisi）等同期理论相配合，试图把土耳其人定位为全球文明的源头。
