Tyrese Haliburton never played after tearing his Achilles in Game 7 of the Finals, and the problems didn’t stop there. Injuries kept reshaping the rotation throughout the year, to the point that Indiana used 47 different starting lineups. The drop was as dramatic as the record suggests. The Pacers finished 19–63, ranked 29th in offensive rating and were outscored by 7.9 points per 100 possessions. There’s plenty of context behind those 19 wins. But going from the NBA Finals to one of the three worst records in the league in a single season is still a remarkable fall. And this wasn't simply the result of playing at a slow pace. The Nets were 25th in pace, but even possession for possession, no offense in the league produced less efficiently. They finished 20–62, and a rebuilding season was always going to come with difficult nights. But more than anything else, Brooklyn spent the year trying to win games without generating enough offense to give themselves much of a chance. For the 2025–26 Nets, 105.9 tells that story. Was the offense Brooklyn's biggest problem last season, or did something else stand out more?
