I was waiting to hear the whole album before I chose one to sing & @yelyahwilliams really did save the best for last. I cried & had it on repeat yesterday & quickly bashed this out today. Thank you for a beautiful album that's been amazingly crafted. So proud. #PetalsForArmor – at Glasgow, Scotland

I hope Zohran Mamdani sleeps well tonight knowing he showed New York what America deserves and America said bet.
I am gobsmacked. I NEVER thought we would wake up to that from America! Holy hell, the people are pisssssed and rightly so.

Karl Marx was right. He warned us that capitalism would result in a dictatorship of the super rich. Look at our lives now. The super rich are controlling everything, but they are never on the ballot paper.

Actually, different salaries should only affect how luxurious your life is, not your food quality or ability to afford rent. If you work 40 hours at any job, your income should be enough to live in the town you work in. Thinking otherwise is an abysmal indicator of your humanity

I’d you’re shocked at the damage in France to an old town hall you’ll be horrified to hear what’s happened to the beautiful old buildings and heritage of the Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans

I think we’re entering an era where poverty doesn’t always look like unemployment.
You can have a job.A university degree.A smartphone.Internet access.A respectable salary. And still be one unexpected expense away from financial trouble. You work, but can’t afford a home. You earn, but struggle to save. You have qualifications, but no financial security. At what point do we acknowledge that having employment and escaping poverty are no longer necessarily the same thing?

Most people in France can't afford housing.
They didn't blame immigrants, or transgender people, or video games, or avocado toast.
They blame the government. Because that's who's responsible. That's always who's responsible.

I cannot tell you how uninterested I am in flying cars when people who work 40+ hours a week can't afford rent or groceries.

Funny how a 4 day work week gets treated like some impossible fantasy, yet long holiday weekends never seem to break the economy. It’s almost like every weekend should just…be a long weekend?

I DO NOT understand what billionaires think the final outcome of all this would be. If nobody has a living wage, they CANNOT buy your products, pay for your services or rent the properties being owned and hoarded. At that point, does the whole thing not just collapse?

You ever noticed that it’s socially acceptable to tell poor people how to spend their money? But when we ask the rich to stop hoarding wealth, the response is always “it’s their money.”

I really hate the “no person who works a full-time job should live in poverty” discourse. It should simply be that nobody deserves to live in poverty. We have to let go of the idea that we work in exchange for our worth. People are innately worthy and deserving of the basics.
