When we ran the first cohort of Innovation Lab last year, we had one mentor per domain: product, engineering, design, marketing, business operations, and project management. This year, we switched to one mentor per team, with each mentor guiding their team across all domains and throughout the full product lifecycle, from problem identification to launch. And we’ve seen the improvements so far, especially in how quickly the teams have been getting to prototypes. Our mentors (@jayanaman, @DedeCodex and @uxderrick) have been incredibly valuable to the teams. The depth of knowledge and experience they’ve brought to the process has been evident in the way the teams have approached their work, made decisions, and developed their products. We’re looking forward to seeing the final MVPs the fellows put out and the impact of the guidance and mentorship they’ve received along the way.

3 years ago we created a virtual ride experience for Yango that simulated the driving experience, picking up passengers, dropping them off and earning points. Ahead of the times😅 Nice to see it is easier to build games and experiences like this now.
