Since 2019 I’ve been in an expensive, stressful legal battle to protect Webcomic Name (my “oh no” comics). It’s a relief to finally talk about this publicly! I’m launching a crowdfunder to pay my
remaining legal fees to end this. 1/8 gofund.me/7478032b

With Twitter's change in ownership last week, I'm probably in the clear to talk about the most unethical thing I was asked to build while working at Twitter.

My go-to is the theme song for the Muppets tv show. You're welcome.
There is a whole set of research on dealing with songs stuck in your head. The best solution is either to chew gum (really!) or to seek out a more annoying song. A 2013 UK study found that “Karma Chameleon” by Culture Club worked best. Other suggestions? youtu.be/pafaIC5sNg8
You can tell how expensive this bottle of vinegar was based on how many exquisitely small shards of glass it broke into when I dropped it.
How many donuts do we think the lawyers got from this? It's gotta be like 50% or more than the class members right?
@darth Have you heard about the Tim Horton's app tracking settlement Darth?
Hey gmail, as you know from scanning 15+ years of email you have to and from me, I do not speak French. So, if you feel like classifying all of these French solicitations for medical billing training courses as spam, that'd be ok by me. I promise not to be mad, really.
Often, we stare at the output of some program and exclaim, "Why doesn't this *work*?!"
But very occasionally, instead we get to exclaim, "Look at this *work*!" Transferring files between two remote systems via SSH by piping tar from one to the other will always do that for me.
Uh, you are a month early for this nonsense.

The biggest surprise to me is that it's possible, let alone desirable, to take a 44-foot sailboat down the Mississippi River.
I guess if you remove the mast...but at that point it's no longer a sailboat, it's a powerboat with rather poor handling characteristics... 🤷♂️
