With Fenaka Dheena's case, it appears as though she was just another employee who carries out tasks assigned by superiors without question. She is now having to face prison time for her acquisence to orders. Stresses the point that you should think and question everything. – at Maldives

People are literally crying near ADK/IGMH pharmacies. How are the heads of state and relevant authorities even sleeping at night?

This week I’ve seen men ridicule women for dressing “too provocatively” and other men ridicule Muslim women for dressing “too conservatively,” and its a reminder that maybe men should shut the hell up, stop worrying about how women dress, and instead expend their energy on getting men to stop raping and abusing women. This is not a high bar.

In addition to wearing this, women should also STOP breathing. It accentuates their breasts and distracts men. We must always think about the men.

Can someone explain how a tax-haven residency scheme actually generates sustainable revenue? Selling property brings in a one-off payment. Reselling it might generate another fee decades later. Meanwhile, who pays for the roads, schools, mosques, healthcare and infrastructure these developments promise? Those facilities don’t maintain themselves. The land alone costs money, let alone construction, utilities, staffing and upkeep. Let’s be honest about the model. If residents pay little or no tax, the government still has to fund public services somehow. That means relying on other revenue sources, including taxes paid by ordinary Maldivians and income generated by tourism. What are we actually gaining? Are we creating a sustainable source of national income, or selling off our land while the long-term costs fall on the public? Billionaires get a tax-free lifestyle and ocean views. But who pays the bill for the roads, schools and services that make that lifestyle possible? Before selling this as an economic miracle, show the public the numbers. #EagleHillsOut #MVAgainstZionists #AlabbarOut #MuthoOut
A friend sent me this and asked what I think. I said, it could be true. But one thing I know for sure is that we have heard this same many times before. 2024: Fuel bunkering will bring in forex and ease the USD crisis. 2025: The $9 billion financial hub will bring in forex and ease the USD crisis. 2025: Mandatory 20% USD exchange will ease the USD crisis. 2026: Mandatory 40% USD exchange will ease the USD crisis. Now: Rasmale will bring in forex and ease the USD crisis. And I will leave it to each of you to judge just how much the USD crisis has actually eased between 2024 and 2026, after all these miracle solutions.

Oversleeping has always been my quietest cry for help. The moment I start sleeping through entire days, just know something inside me is carrying more than it can explain out loud.

Is there a way we can map accidents on a map and have a visual representation of it. Maybe of GMR and Ras male area and include vessels as well 🤔 I'm just curious to see this

ID renewal & eFaas a thread My ID expired on 25 Sept. I applied for renewal on 5 Oct. DNR site was taking ages to load my details and wouldn’t let me upload my photo or previous ID. After a quick call to DNR (and a small communication mix-up), I decided to try again later. 1/5 – at Maldives

The punishment for rape shouldn’t stop at a prison sentence. The man should be denied ‘credibility’. Stamp his ration card, adhaar, pan, driving license, voter ID, passport, credit card - so wherever he goes in life he is identified by who he is & let the world never forget that.

Those who think tar roads can save them from flooding need to rethink! We need to create sponge islands with rain gardens! Most of our islands were naturally made in such a way! But we think tar roads can save us!

She became a mother. She grew a human, wrecked her body, paused her career, and walked into a room looking like an actual adult woman instead of a filtered 22-year-old. Your first instinct was “she is finished.” That single sentence explains why many women looked at men like you and quietly decided motherhood isn’t worth the humiliation that follows. You didn’t just insult her. You advertised how little value you assign to women the moment they stop existing for your visual consumption. Look at your wife and mother and say the same words: “You’re finished.”

Last night a father was carrying his baby crossing the road, taking slow steps, but he slipped into a pothole and the baby fell. It was flooded so he couldn’t see the hole despite being careful. Both parents rushed to hold the baby but it was too late. I wish I could upload the video here so y’all could see it. This is just devastating yk. Is it the pothole, the drainage system, the council, the govt or the father’s fault? For sure the baby shouldn’t have been the victim.
